Try clicking right when you the spear is just a bit beforethe trunk of the palm tree next to the hut, and then click again when you your guy is just at the middle of the foul line rocks. :)

This shit is broke. I was playing last night and with this score I should have got on the day's list of high scores. It asks me to submit my name, and when I do, it just changed the ILIKEDOLLS guy's score TO MY SCORE!!!!

I thought ok just a glitch, so I get a higher score a little later, says submit name, I do, and shit it STILL doesnt put me on the screen.

Talk about a buzzkill. I was looking on there today and there were people on the high scores list with 473's...that game is whacked, it'd kick ass if you could actually ADD YOUR NAME.

I was sitting here trying to figure out how the hell you would do that... and then I clicked Nedder's link and realised what was up.


This game really is a bunch of bullshit.

I cant even play. it loads and when its fully loaded it just hangs there at the loading screen with a fully loaded load bar. Win2k.

I got the email of the guys who made the game, and am going to apologize for giving the game link to some of you guys who found a flaw in it.. and got 600+ scores... :P

Anything you guys want me to add to it?

I think I can pretty much tell you. There are 2 possibilities:

There are some programs which can convert .swf files to their source .fla files. The source could have been modified to change gravity, or more simply remove the foul line.

OR

They could have looked through the compiled .swf file and found where the foul line variable was, and then modified it, to push it further back, therefore letting them get a greater distance.

OR I could be wrong, but I don't think if I asked they'd tell me. Though I'll ask anyways. :)

Yes, i've done tried that too.. I could see the ripped swf file, but it was on my local machine... I mean you can't edit the file online, right?

No, as far as I know you can't, but the high-score insert could be a full length URL, opposed to just a directory.

I just got the moves when it comes to spear tossing. Takes some skill to do what I have done :winkwink:

Took me all day to get that, but finally did it... so lets see if anyone can beat me. I wish they would bring that jump command back.. I enjoyed having over 600.

Update for you guys... The maker of Spear Toss got back to me and appreciated being let know the problems people found. They said "The little sneaks figured out a way to thwart the submission process." and also added that "For now, we have a bandaid on Spear Toss, but in the next couple of weeks, we'll hopefully have a fairly ironclad high scores system ..."
