I used to work as a courier and one of the things all us drivers used to do was instead of handing a receptionist or cute girl the consignment note to sign we always deliberately placed it on the lowest available bench within reach.

Exactly for the reasons stated. It was one of the perks :winkwink: Nicer in summer but usually good all year round in heated offices.
