banks don't give a fuck about customer service anymore.. I had $50k in BofA..they took out some bullshit fee..I told them I was closing my account and wanted all the money...they didn't even attempt to talk me out of it..."here you go sir"

Not to a bank manager... I know this because my sister used to manage one. And if she ever heard of an employee watching someone pull that much cash out she would have fired them for it.

Most likely they didn't like the business you were in?

anexsia 06-08-2012 08:26 PM

The bank I used to be with, lost my very first deposit =/.

Anyways, glad to see you got the $25,000 at least figured out. Happy Biiiiiirrrrrthday!

As luck would have it, I only would have issues like that when I was out of the country. Nothing ever happened when I was near a bank, but when I was as far away as one could possibly get, I would have fraud issues, they would turn off my credit cards, auto-billing mistakes, and all sorts of other dumb shit. I'd then have to spend endless amounts of time on Skype trying to deal with the situation and usually get disconnected 3 or 4 times in the process.

I no longer use US banking. Been smooth sailing every since.

Sounds like me going to Internext...

Go to some far flung spot. Leave cards in Hotel safe. Only bring Epassporte (back in the day) or Paxum, plus I.D.... Leave Paxum in ATM. Be sitting by freeway onramp trying to get cab fare back to hotel...

The bitch teller did a $25,000 cashiers check out of my business account for something and then also deducted the money from my personal account right after that.
