I messed up, and i messed up pretty bad. I know that "i'm sorry" wont solve anything.

It's not just tulku i owe money. I have accepted a whole lot of work and took 50% and from a few 100% upfront.
I'm on my daughters computer right now, cause i had to sell my computer a few days ago.

That means i cant deliver anything.

But, i'll pay back everything that i owe people. It'll take months and maybe more, but i'll make it somehow. Tulku will be the first in line.

It's very sad that everything came down to this mess, but i've been desperate the last few months.

Again, i'll pay back every single dime.

This is a whole lot of drama for 9:30 in the morning. :error Wow.

If you have read everything around him before this situation, you'd know he was a trustworthy, hardworking guy. It's fucked up, but he did plan to deliver the work he was given. I bought a logo from him and he delivered - he was ridiculously honest regarding the transfer scam as well and was planning to finish the work to be able to pay back, but now he can't finish the work and he has to choose.

It was probably not just the light bill that was the whole problem, it was just the first thing to pay as to be able to keep working for the money. The reason he sold his computer and not his daughter's is that his was good and would actually sell..

There is logic in this. It was someone who was desperate for cash, who planned to offer work but couldn't get enough projects going, scammed for it, and then since he still didn't get that much work had sold his computer and couldn't deliver. Fucked up, but let's not go all paranoid on half-facts.

Im sorry but you cant defend the indefensible, what he did was criminal in my book, he even admitted his intent.

I dont care what peoples "perception" of him was/is. Fact is, the guys pop up, take in a lot of work, UNDERCUT designers with good reputations, they use the desire to save a few bucks (greed) and sympathy )compassion) to run their scams and real businessman running design business sit back and watch it all go down.

I'm not defending him - I agree that it was criminal, however Fletch is going "he must have scammed MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL ALONG, EVERYTHING HE SAYS IT'S A LIE!" It's a waste of energy, and assuming fake things dillutes the weight of the real act.

EDIT: Just read last Fletch's post now, got what you're saying now :) The reason he didn't have a portfolio site was that he got out of adult beginning of last year and he didn't renew his domain. Before I ordered the logo (which I could've done myself but indeed was trying to help) I checked his background and i remembered I had seen a nice design he had for sale months ago and that the links were down.

and I was thinking something like this before .. but he's just Scammer .. he can told me he can't get my money back that soon if that's the case .. but NO, he told me he'll back my money on 28st Jan. when he get his "salary" .. after 28st I've sent him email and he told me he's loaded his paypal and there's 3-4 days to show up .. and THEN AGAIN no money and told me if the money don't show up some his "friend" will send me the money ..

the writing was on the wall... as a designer I tend to have an opinion on these types, as ive been in this biz 10 years now, and guys like him should stay in mainstream scamming people. he clearly cant cut in adult :2 cents:

Contact his local authorities and file a criminal complaint for fraud. It may not ever go anywhere, but he needs the shit scared out of him. Some may see his initial response as brutal honesty, but it appears as though he just assumes he can fraudulently take someone's money at his convenience, make up his own payment terms and everything will be ok.

You know when i was younger and before i worked on my own i sometimes had problems paying my bills. Know what i did? I worked. Yes really, i worked. I worked my ass off. I took shitty jobs everywhere i could. I did 2 shifts in 24 hours. I worked as much as was needed to pay my bills. Every time i read these idiot stories of someone who feels really bad that he stole money but he HAS to pay his bills i wonder why the fuck can't he work for his money? Instead he stays home behind his computer begging for design work he won't get.
I have no sympathy for this piece of shit whatsoever unless he has no legs or something and simply can't do any other work which i doubt.

I hope someone screws him over 10 times as bad and will tell him "sorry man, i had to pay some bills, nothing personal".
