I don't want to bump this whole drama thread but since my name was mentioned in this, I'd like to mention that I'm working with the guys at video secrets directly about this and they have been very helpful so far. There are lots of great people working with video secrets and the majority of my experiences with them have been positive, so I'm confident that this will be resolved.

Drama can be minimized by talking to the right people and having the right approach.

Minnie, you should speak to someone else at Video Secrets if you have an issue. John isn't the most helpful guy and is just a studio manager anyway:winkwink:

Glad you were able to sort things out directly. There would have been zero drama had they helped directly in the first place instead of acting like assholes about it and claiming they didn't get the emails or ICQs.

John isn't even a studio manager. He's some pothead who posts on craigslist and has chicks cam out of his filthy little apartment. I doubt he has enough sense in his head to be an actual studio manager. :winkwink:

I can't speak for Minnie's situation, but I only really had the time to address my problem with John's studio over the past 2 weeks because of moving/going on leave. I did phone in about it, but I know you get the best results dealing with people directly.

I put some time aside the past 2 days and was able to get this resolved very quickly with Tim (The Hand) and Eli (from the broadcasters department). I encourage all models to be proactive about any problems they have with studios or anything else really. I was able to resolve this issue just by explaining my problem in a matter of minutes really.

Thank you to the guys at Video Secrets for listening to my situation. I know they work with lots of studios and models, but they clearly realize that webcam models make their business and I didn't feel ignored the whole time I talked with them.

I'm in the industry to work hard and do good business, so I'm glad further drama was averted here:thumbsup

The only thing left that still troubles me about it is that John is still representing them even after posting a model's personal information on Craigslist. He is collecting the information on their behalf and IMHO what he did is a total breech of trust.

It is truly sad that they need a studio so badly that they would let him get away with it. But then, that is the type of business they run I guess.
