People have been arrested for protesting in the USA. They've also been arrested for things they said too. Yeah a lot of things get by but there's some that doesn't.

No normal regular person "likes" war. The problem with the protesting of the soldiers is it's misguided. It's like people spitting on US soldiers returning from viet nam :( Nixon needed the spit, congress needed it.. not the soldiers who march when and where told to march.

London is the most diverse city in the world... it's to be expected, comes with the territory.
When I lived there I lived right by the Finsbury Park Mosque...which back then, was still a very radical. I've heard it's been cleaned up.
But even then, it's not like so bad you can't cohabit comfortably. But that was 2005...same year the tunnels were bombed.

While I think they do have a right to protest (free speech ..ect) I think it was the wrong place at the wrong time. The soldiers are doing thier jobs even if it is an unjust war. My brothers son has had two tours in Afganistan and even he said " I dont know what the hell we are doing over there" War is war no matter who starts it and it hurts everybody involved and it sucks. But to let them protest infront of the soldiers who are doing what they are told to do in my eyes is wrong. Let them protest in front of the politicians, the politicians are the ones calling the shots and causing this shit to happen not the guys doing the foot work.
