There are zero deaths attributed to marijuana use. That cannot be said about pharmaceuticals. Even Asprin cannot make that claim.

Industrial hemp has an amazingly wide array of uses, from concrete to clothing and biomass with environmental cleanup uses as well. It is truly underutilized here in the states because of the current ridiculous marijuana laws. :2 cents:

Define relatively harmless when its proven you lose critical brain matter when you smoke marijuana, also the "huge demand" you are talking about would subside fairly quickly with watered down, regulated and taxed marijuana. We have enough trouble and costs associated with controlling legal tobacco and alcohol abuse now, we dont need to add marijuana to that list. Good economic policy... maybe but certainly not good social policy.

Actually driving under the influence of marijuana HAS caused accidents resulting in deaths, Im sure a google search would bring up some of that but if you choose to be oblivious to peoples absolute and inevitable abuse of legal drugs so be it.

Legalized marjuana would cost next to nothing if you dont tax it high.

Driving under the influence...no debate from me for that. What I was referring to was usage as medicine.

It also would be extremely impotent, kinda like some of my critics.
