I want proof that a surfer charged back because of something that was my fault.

You gotta be soo fucking careful who you promote.. You need to know them and their paysites inside and out.

A lot of webmasters are risking losing their own traffic promoting bullshit programs.

very true statement.

Affiliate eating the CBs... debatable but you should take responsibility for your sales. No problem.

5% credit card fee? I find that very odd and I would have a problem with this.

With that said, if they just came out and said we are lowering your payment to 45%, either you deal with it or you don't.

45% - 50%, does it really matter?

truth, a lot of places charge $2 check fee too

The chargeback fines just blow my mind. Sure remove the sales (like many affiliate programs do) but passing on the fines from paysquare is just nasty. We use paysquare (vxs bill) too, and those CB fines are just part of doing business ... passing them on is downright greedy.

Eat those fines like EVERYONE else does.

Bump. It seems that they are delaying payments now, and blaming it on Epass. 6 days delay on Epass already.

But affiliates with wire as payout options also got the payment delayed.

I knew these changes were a sign of financial problems.

:(

This is the e-mail they sent earlier today, about the payment delay:

For all of our affiliates using ePassporte to receive funds, we regret to
announce that we are experiencing a problem with our most recent (May 2009)
transfer. We made the payment as we always do, complete and on time, but
due to technical issues on the part of ePassporte, the payments are still
pending, and we are doing our best to figure out what exactly has happened
and how we can fix this problem as soon as possible. Rest assured that
Orgycash has in fact made the payments, and everyone will receive their
proper payments as soon as we can sort this out. Affiliates who receive
money through bank wire transfers have already received their money as
usual. We sincerely apologize for the delay and are doing what we can.
If anybody has had similar experiences with ePassporte in the past we would
be interested in hearing about it.

Thanks for your patience,
Camron

I guess I am glad the never activated my account. :)

Raf1 06-30-2009 10:35 AM

they could have done it differently.

janosik 06-30-2009 11:28 AM

I have just recieved their wire transfer ... so I believe tham that there is problem with epass.

rowan 06-30-2009 01:11 PM

epass wire delays are not unheard of...

With regards to reducing fraud I think a bonus system might work better. Reward long term affiliates who send GOOD signups, rather than scare off potential affiliates with unusual fees or conditions...
