I worked for a cell phone company back in I think 91 or so. Had one of the motorola bag phones first plus a purple pager lol. Then I moved on to the Motorola non flip phone. I actually still have that one. It looked like a motorola flip phone without the flip part. Kind of like a wedge.

I had the big black brick phone as well. Then they "upgraded" to the thinner battery and those that had it thought they were pimp.

I remember one spring break there when Rupaul performed. I was sitting inside down the hallway from the lobby area reading a paper and here comes Rupaul running up to me and asks if I happen to have one of those big lollipops. He/she needed it for the show.

How random :1orglaugh

For the few years that MTV was in Daytona I had this wave setup next to the stage beachside and charged Spring Breakers $5 a Polaroid to stand on the board with one of my girls. I had all access plus a room at the Adams Mark. Fun times for sure :thumbsup

As far as the stars go they were running all around the hotel and grounds and you never knew who you might bump into. Out of all of them, Pauly Shore got chased by the girls the most. My favorite star moment was when me and the girl in the back of this picture with Ed Lover were going down the elevator to get a drink at the bar. We stopped at a floor and Van Damm gets in and immediately starts hitting on her even though he was married at the time. I gave him the stink eye but that didn't phase him. I came real close to getting into my first elevator cage match that night. The difference was I was going down to the bar and not coming back from it :1orglaugh
