Where in LA do you live? There is someone in my building in Woodland Hills that has a Cayman who I think is in adult... He also has a blue Cadillac Escalade... is that you?
Thats too funny. Indeed it would be. The Escalade belongs to the GF. Next time you see me stop me and say hello.

TidalWave 06-21-2009 09:17 AM

We've past each other a couple times. I park next to you actually. I have the black SL63, parked usually on the left side of the elevator exit. One time we rode in the elevator together and right before you got in, I thought (wasn't sure) I had heard you speaking about something adult-related to your GF, but you stopped yourself when you realized we were in there.

Too funny indeed!

Ahhh... yes. I know you. Now thats a great car. You have my dream car ... except for the price tag.... I will definetly say hello the next time. The GF is also in the biz... we never know how people will react so we keep the industry talk to a minimum. And she doesnt want to get recognized either. She had a stalker in our last place. Not fun.

Back in the early 90's I had a '73 Duster that was fucking fantastic.

I never was a PP person though...

I hated PP. Every one I bought I snapped in 1/2 within a matter of days, so I stopped buying them. Though, the one that lasted the longest with me was the Tommy Guerrero model. I had that one for about a month and snapped it on a 5 stair handrail, ate total shit on that fall.

Block Head 4 life!

I used to rock the Sam Cunningham model. It had just a little extra bend in the tail and would give me more pop for ollies than any other board. Had many of them and refused to buy anything else, it was the best deck ever! I've actually been searching high and low for one of his old school decks, even talked to Dave who owns the company... nada. No more. :Oh crap

This is what I drove in high school, in the 90's. Same colors. I miss the beast, R.I.P.

+1

I had a 1970 Cougar XR7 convertible that would be a close second, but that was back when gasoline was under $1/gal.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 4.0L inline 6. Runs perfect, never ever let me down. Looks great and I can get everyone in it. My dog loves riding in the back after I lay the seats down. I don't care how much money I have in the bank, I'll drive this thing until the wheels fall off.

oh i def. agree... you'd be amazed how many 'exotics' you can run circles around in a lightweight cheerleader car. i've owned a handful of miatas and my 91 was the lightest
