It always happens. When the going gets uncomfortable, the uncomfortable punch the owned button. Perhaps it is Russian angst.

I don't have a problem with Russians. However, I do think Russian men dress a little odd and many of the guys have funny hair cuts. With that said, if you hear of a scam and it's not coming from Africa, it's usually coming from Russia. I'm not saying they are scammers, just saying that the bulk of the news leans in that direction. I will also note that some of my best affiliates are Russian. I just hope they are not scamming me. :1orglaugh:winkwink: |
LOL you are so funny. I would not tag all the people of certain nationality because of having bad experience with some mother fucker. I lived in Israel for last five years, and even after that I can't say that all Israelis are scams (but yeah, very many of them). Especially in first years, I got scammed many times by people, companies, and especially, the government. So, Russia isn't the worst example. There are much more examples from Nigeria and China. Whole world is a scam.
PS. My father is Russian and I truly never met someone who was more honest. |

If i were to judge about all the americans by InternetIsForPorn and weekly... brrr.... I am glad they are not like those two:)
weekly, Ukraine has never been "occupied" by Russia. Learn the subject first. And, please, don't speak about the gas again. It was the problem of Ukrainian and Russian "leaders", not the people. |

Don't forget about our history of building "kommunism"... 20-25 years ago, I have to spent few hours in queue to buy some milk. You'll never understand the people who grown in USSR... Some of us really depressive, becouse our parents live their whole lives for USSR machine. They are gave away whole lives and now they feel like crazy when everything they fights for just collapsed in a few days of 1990 !!!
But we are fight for better future for our kids, be sure. I think the better way to defend yourself from Russian Scammers is looking for recommendations. If You wanna try to work with some russian, ask somebody You know from russian AWM comunity about this person... As i know, here in GFY alot of russian AWM's posting and reading, but they are afraud to show it... I don't, becouse i have nothing to hide, and i proud to be russian guy... Yes, it's hard to live here, since You don't getting some good revenue 8)))... We have a new popular phrase something like "the money beat disasters" (Бабло побеждает Зло) |

As about the ppl who live in Ukraine, so there are 2 different nationalities: Poles (western Ukrainians) and Russians (Eastern Ukrainians). Furthermore, Kiev - the capital of modern Ukraine was a great RUSSIAN capital even BEFORE of Moscow (there wre 2 such a great capitals of ancient Rus: Kiev and Novgorod). So now the Eastern part of Ukraine is mother of modern Russia (note: Kiev) and the ppl who living there are fathers modern Russians. And the territory of modern Ukraine since the Ekaterina's times was called MALOROSSIA (FYI: "Rossia: is Russia in English). All the stupid nationalist talks about "occupation" etc are for absolutely silly people who hasn't learn the history. For anyone who want to find out more, I would recommend to read Nikolai Gogol - the greatest Ukrainian writer (one of the most famous ones in both modern Ukraine and Russia) who was witting about Ukraine (MALOROSSIA) in old Tsarist times. Especially I would recommend everyone to read his book "Taras Bulba" about war of Rossians (modern Ukrainians and Russians) against Polish occupants. Most funny thing, that when the movie "Taras Bulba" was filmed and shown in Ukraine, some brainwashed modern teenagers was almost shocked by the last words of Taras which he said before he was burned by enemies. The (these new teenagers who haven't learn the history) were unable to believe that Nikolai Gogol put these words into the mouth of Taras Bulba. But... when they were suggested to open the ORIGINAL BOOK and read it themselves, they were shocked even more :) BTW, there is a small detail... Gogol was witting all his books only in Russian language. What can I say about such a people? Learn your own history, because nation which doesn't learn its history will never have a future. |

Actually it's funny to hear that:
1) <Ukrainians and Russians are different>. Let some moron will try to say the same on any Russian-speaking webmaster board where almost a half webmasters are living in Ukraine. I would like to see how long he will suffer the kicks - hehe :) FYI: many Russians (perhaps even a half of them) you know in adult business are Ukrainians (the people who are living in modern Ukraine). What a surprise, ah? :) 2) <Russians call Georgians with a racist American word "n-g-g-e-r">. Very interesting supposition. Let some moron will try to say the same to all these Russian men who love Tina Kandelaki (see her pics below). I mean let him try to call this Georgian woman a "n-g-g-e-r" ("backs bastard" as weekly loves to call them) in a company of Russian men... It would be funny to see how long he will stay on his legs LOL http://news.rin.ru/photos/40335.jpg http://www.parad-zvezd.ru/gal/tina_kadelaki/b_3.jpg http://www.foxmovies.ru/graphics/n/31/027_025.jpg http://forum.se-zone.ru/files/07/08/...i1_189_126.jpg http://www.liberty.ru/var/ezwebin_si...imagelarge.jpg http://www.interesno.name/files/imag...-kandelaki.jpg This is why I added weekly into my ignore list. I just can't read all the nonsense written by such an idiot. GFY is a very interesting board, but only when the idiots and fascists are clustered together in a special reservation aka "ignore list", which was invented specially for them :winkwink: |

a thing about Russia and Russians that people do not understand is the impact of communism on a society. when everything is scarce... when you can't just go out a buy clothes you want, but furniture, good food etc etc etc you have to hustle to get what you need as a basic fact of survival. additionally, people steal. everyone stole from the State which was largely viewed to be exploiting them and people largely had a very adversarial relationship with the government and authority in general since both were more often the source of oppression rather than the protector of your rights or provider. stealing throughout the history of the Soviet Union was just normal. you weren't stealing from companies or real people that actually got hurt.. you were stealing from the State. the same State that was failing to provide to begin with so it became a normal thing culturally to steal.
A lot of behaviors are going away very fast as Russia moves into a more westernized society. but people fail to understand the hardships that came with the fall of Communism and the struggle that people were forced to endure and where many are still forced to fight to survive today. People outside of Russia just don't understand what it meant to suddenly have your job and any work prospect evaporate... to have your pension evaporate and to have prices all around you sky rocket for every conceivable thing... and all at the same time. its hard to think about the future, plan for the future or think about working for the future when you didn't really know what that future was going to be. if you had the chance to steal 10,000 or have a job for 1,000 a month, stealing the 10,000 makes more sense when you are watching companies come and go, not pay employees after months of promises and so on. the situation there and culture there is very complicated. it can't be explained to someone in the west, because they can never see the situation through anything but the western prism. but saying they don't steal or scam etc is hardly correct. lying and stealing is very much a normal thing there. ripping off the place you work for is very much a normal thing there. fucking over any one that isn't family is very much a normal thing there. saying EVERYONE behaves the same way isn't fair... saying its common and might typify the vast majority of people isn't unfair at all. |
