Well I got around 80k hits to the gallery, haven't checked on the click throughs yet, but probably a fairly low percentage. Can't blame the sponsor since I'm promoting one of my own paysites. :)
No sales yet but sometimes they do come back and sign up. Maybe I'm too niche, maybe the gallery should have been better. Maybe it's some old fashioned luck. (I'm not mentioning the su**er slow**n, it's not real... hehe).

Really doesnt matter where you are listed on that site, I once had a gallery second to dead last that got 250k clicks to the sponsor. Unfortunetly the sponsor only converted at something like 1:2500. The first time I posted a webcam gallery on the hun I made something like 800 signups with a paid spot in the 2-5 area on the first day. I've seen 20+ signups from overflow listings. TheHun used to be a gold mine, have no idea what it's like now. TheHun, Shemp, PersianKitty, Pinkworld and Al4A were the only sites I submitted to back in the day. Sites like WorldSex, Elaphant list and many others never did well for me and werent worth the energy.

Dude, thats the worst gallery ever. And I don't mean to offend you, but hope to motivate you to work on the templates a little more.

Don't put the models name in your gallery. Any quick search of her name will give the surfer a 20 minute preview( usually of the same scene you're promoting ) ... time to find something else to do with your time

so 80K in one day - stays on site for 3-4 days meaning should get a little over 100K to one gallery in a low position.....

Many think traffic is the most important part of the job That's so 1995 it's a joke but fools are hard to teach. You do need traffic and it's important, more important is what the surfer sees on the site he's sent to.

Today the surfer's spoiled for choice, he can choose anyone of 100 to 3,000 sites in the same niche and he knows what he's looking for. The buying traffic has bought before, usually many times and if you have to rely on the newbie surfer to get sales you're screwed. If you're shooting micro niche and you don't know that niche inside out you an bet your customer does. No one wakes up one day and decides he's suddenly into a icro niche.

Not as much as having something the surfer HAS to have in your tour. It used to be down to traffic, ow its about content first, traffic second. Tubes get tons of traffic but very few sales. And their are affiliates with sites that only need to send 50 hits to get a sale.

We used to get Paul Markham Teens listed in the over flow all the time and some times in the main part. Then we saw a marked decline in sales and when they started to ask for paid partner accounts the submission TGPs started to go to the dogs. Not hard to work out why.

xxxfeetxxx your tour needs seriously looking at, it does not feature socks enough to fulfill the needs of the niche. You've even included girls and cut off their feet, cut the toes off girls feet, the second page is better IMO than the first, you need to assure the customer you have a lot of content on the site and content that screams "Socks onTeens".

For all the years I've been on the boards people have told us traffic is king. They have never changed the song even though the Internet has changed totally. Then as now the only thing that mattered was the sign ups and what each one of them cost. Traffic was always the easy thing to get, sign ups for some the hardest.

Sites that were doing 1:1000 and not enough signs were told "You need more traffic." 999 of the people who visited the site were clearly saying "NO THANK YOU." and leaving. And some still thought the solution was more traffic. So they spent more money on more traffic and often their ratios worsened, so they threw more money at getting more traffic.

If 999 people are walking into your shop (tour) and saying no the problem is you don't have what they needed. Many came to the site because they were interested in the niche and what the gallery was showing, but the tour failed to convert them. The problem should of been solved by converting 1 of the 999 into a customer. doubles your membership and makes your site look better to affiliates.

Then the job is to keep them on the site with content they adore and can't find on 100-1000 other sites.

The result would of been an Internet that rated customer satisfaction as the most important thing. And after 10 years would not see dissatisfied customers migrating to free sites. But we still see traffic as king, this thread proves otherwise.

Thehun still does not have paid partner accounts. No partner accounts at all to be exactly. You still can submit galleries for free and get listed in a couple of weeks...

It's always better to use content that is not use a lot by the guys with paid spots..

I was wondering too, when OP says 40k traffic on a top spot. It's been ages since I submitted there, but a listing way down the list, could easily send like 100k of traffic.

I just love how everyone seems's to hate on Thehun. Michel is a good guy and he treats anyone of you properly If you send him quality galleries. Now day's even the gallery submisson game has included sponsor pre-made templates. I'm sure they are gonna work great.....

Working on www.mobihun.com of course! We already got more than 60% bookmarkers and traffic is growing every day. We also added a lot of niches on thehun's overflow http://www.thehun.net/overflow/ . The overflow is still growing as well, we had the busiest month ever in march 2009. Very cool if you figure we started counting stats from 2000 and the what happened with most tgp style sites.
We had a nice youtube page set up for mobihun, but that got deleted by youtube, guess they could not deal with 50000 views on a video of Britney Brooks blowing a big one (balloon) in a day(!) and Sabrina Deep enjoying some icecream...

Before I forget, most video galleries on thehun.net are both in mp4 and an "old school" format available. Mobihun offers the same formats but also 3gp and mobile friendly lay out of the site itself and most galleries listed on top. Pictures are also mobile friendly.

Your gallery makes it hard for people with the attention spam of 2 seconds to find out how to click through to see more of what you are showing them on that page.



Obviously if you getting a free spot at 9 or 11 or whatever then his sales are way down. I remember buying spots 5 years ago when there was a waiting list for 11-20.

my memory is bad but was it you that sued people who you felt infringed on your domains, where it was even less of an issue of what mhun.com would be for the hun ? I don't know if you own mhun or its listed on your site by someone else but kind of ironic if my memory serves me right.

I've not submitted a gallery to any TGP in 6 years, but theHun still sticks in my head as the best out there, with the most decent people running it. I used to get listed all the time - you just have to put a bit of WORK into your gallery, find new good quality content which hasn't been flogged to death, and you're away.
