The commerical is great. I am suprised you did not spend some of that budget on a decent domain.

I love it! Great commercial.

The only constructive criticism I have is that you're not driving the brand home until the last few seconds. In fact, had I not already been aware of the site, I wouldn't even remember the name. It wasn't drilled into my brain.

Maybe an info bar at the bottom or something? I know it kind of spoils that "what is this commercial all about?" appeal, but at the same time, it's precious time to cement the brand into the viewers mind.

Other than that, I give it a 10 out of 10. Clever and not cheesy in the least bit (considering porn is known for the cheese factor, that is a big feat)

I wanted to add that it reminds me a bit of the GoDaddy commercials. That's a great thing, because GoDaddy commercials are favorites of a lot of folks.

Thanks,

It's the company that makes the domain, not a domain that makes the company.
We have proved that over and over.

I just mean if you are running tv ads might work better with a more memorable domain. I watched and LIKED your ads an hour or so ago and I could not remember it to type it in now..

Just my :2 cents:

Studies show you have to see and or hear something at least 7 times to remember it.
Just part of Branding.

But I know what you are saying.

Joe King 09-07-2009 06:25 PM

Dave, how about at the end instead of just flashing the domain name you show it being actually TYPED into a browser? I think that would "drill" it into the minds of the viewers. The action would also be very suggestive.

You could also have a sexy female voice say the domain as it is being typed to really drive it home.

Brad Mitchell 09-07-2009 06:28 PM

Dave, that was very very well done. Congratulations :)

Brad

Thanks, We have a second one as well. I like the other one better but it was aimed more for mainstream. I may post it later.

Thanks for the compliments. I agree about the info bar but I thought it would kill it. Most people like to wait to the end to see what the commercial is about. Would have worked both ways I guess.
