Giving dumb people differentiation based on #1 and #2 just make others want to be as dumb. Spunky would agree.

I've never liked fake/multiple profiles.

i can see the need to hide one's identity - i think the board should have that identity though and not release it unless there are threats, legal reasons to do so.

all the people who say business only - are morons. My preference is posts by people IN THE BUSINESS - who cares what they talk about. I want to know what people in this biz do outside of the biz....and inside it. I want to know how they think - what they like, what turns their cranks....I have no interest in people outside of the biz unless it's a post about it from someone who's in the biz. From an advertiser point of view - that's who you want to get your ads in front of.

Gutsy move to buy this board at this time. I hope it works out.

I would milk it just as it is until it died. Look at sex.com and million other domains that were successful until purchased and changed into something else.

Enable PM's get a proper server setup.. allow people to PAY to remove ads, create a business directory where people can review users and give them "rep", put up some sort of text link advertising for smaller programs, add a "corner peel" ad section, make this entire website more professional to weed out some of the idiots, anyone who is using a "for business" account needs to be approved (weed out the scammers).

I like it as is...

suggestions would be, grading members after doing business with them, and members should be required to sign up with ID instead of being anonymous. Also some sig whores do get annoying... Maybe every 10 posts they need to say something useful. :2 cents:

1) Seperate the buy/sell forum into different categories like: "sites", "domains", "content" (now you have to weed your way through if you are looking for any of these specifically)

2) Allow PM's

3) Install itrader mod

Then please add an rss feed

My only complaint about GFY is the contest threads. They are useless and no real affiliates/webmasters read or even notice them.

Thanks to FFVB I don't have to see them anymore so it's not even a big deal.
