My dog eats Orijen 6 fish and my cats eat canned Wellness.

Dogs are like humans, they are omnivores and need a balance of meat as well as vegetable matter. My dogs constantly steal carrots from the barn and go nuts in the fall because of all the apples and pears on the ground.

All that being said, common processed dog food does not contain anywhere near enough meat for them. I make sure to suppliment their dog food with real meat regularly.

Yeah, be careful what dog food you buy.

Do not eat the food yourself.
