Sure, I admit that you think I contradicted myself... what I typed was very easy and clear to understand... only an idiot could possibly confuse it.

IE: why you're the only one arguing it.

I'm the only one arguing it because nobody else is in the thread right now. And yes, back to the "anybody could.." logic. Nice back peddle. You're hilariously retarded. Keep amusing me.

No wonder Obama's numbers are sinking like a stone.

The Democratic Party better get it's act together and fast cause the Palin/Beck 2012 option is fast approaching :(

As someone who is uninsured and has paid high medical bills some years, I feel very qualified to say that I do not want to be forced to buy health insurance and this bill is not for me. I have been forced to buy car insurance since I could drive, of course, and that has never worked out in my favor. Pure insurance company bailout to add a little more sugar to what they already gave AIG.

The majority of GFY ignores threads like this once they see you, 12c, and a few others post, they exit and don't return. As we can see from most posts like this, it's only you guys supporting each other - and with you - it's only you supporting your other thoughts...

You are correct about one thing, "anybody could" is wrong, clearly you're to stupid to understand it..

Yes, says the idiot who uses "anybody could" as an argument. And the only time I've seen anyone address you on this forum involved some sort of an insult, so maybe GFY ignores threads the minute you start typing? I sure as hell know that when I'm in threads that don't involve you, they are lively. Time for a career change=>(I know you're too stupid to understand anything that was just typed).

Btw, the word is too, not to. How sad it must be for your kids, knowing they're smarter than their adult father.

The Demon 01-19-2010 03:34 PM

Let's try TheDoc logic here. Hey kid, anybody can see that you're an idiot, therefore you're an idiot!

Correct... you're an idiot, "everyone and anyone" can see it.. I have even seen people say it to you (yep others), over and over. It's not like it's a secret.

Ahhhh, the denial and delusions of a desperate man on the verge of breakdown. I WOULD say that every post I've seen directed at you has been an insult, but that would be too harsh and I would be appealing to the majority. Instead, I enjoy making you look stupid by myself.

"Dude your a nobody!!"

Try to keep up reject, Obama's #1 provision in his plan included universal health care. This is too easy, put someone with a triple digit IQ on the computer for a change.

But at the end of the day... it's not universal health care.

It's a start, it's what our Country needs even if it's not the best start. Getting it going today will save us trillions down the road... just like it has every other nation with social health care.

No, it's NOT what this country needs, and it never will be. It WONT keep costs down. The only thing it's going to do is bankrupt an already bankrupt nation. Stop pretending that universal health care is the answer and that everybody loves it because this is as far from the truth as it gets.

How could someone that paid "high medical bills for years" be okay to pay those high bills, when $200 or less a month could have covered everything?

You're okay paying out $10k's a year for medical costs vs. less than $2400 a year? That's crazy, what you paid out in medical costs for 1 year could have paid for your coverage for your entire life...

The Demon 01-19-2010 04:16 PM

Someone fails to realize that the money for universal healthcare has to come from somewhere. And that only works if you're running some kind of a surplus, not all deficits.

A Canadian pays less taxes than an American... yep, sux balls.. And it's free, it's a natural born right that you don't pay for, then... but when you start working, or you can opt-out of it..

What world do you live in where health insurance is -$200 a month? I want to live in that world.

The population of Canada is a smidge over 33 million. Way to compare it to America, dumbass. And Canadians pay about the same taxes.

The Demon 01-19-2010 04:25 PM

Here's a good read for people weighing the Pros and Cons.

"A Canadian pays less taxes than an American... yep, sux balls.. And it's free, it's a natural born right that you don't pay for, then... but when you start working, or you can opt-out of it.."

A canadian in British Columbia making $120k a year pays a grand total of 43.7% of his income in taxes.

That is considerably more than most Americans making the same amount are taxed, depending on the state that they live in.

Hehe, that's with Canadian insurance costs added in... Once you add our costs on, well... we get taxed far more. That's before state tax too, for us.. And the tax they get also includes things like: Legal music downloads, they also pay you back on gas/heating costs (in Alberta at least) and other random things - that drop your tax rate.

danclips 01-19-2010 04:35 PM

Right. That's my point, that your health care is not free, it is covered by your higher taxes. I'm not arguing that we shouldn't have health care available to everyone I'm the first person that thinks all humans deserve equal access to healthcare.

But don't fool yourself into thinking that it's free. That money certainly has to come from somewhere, and there is no way to do it without everyone sharing in the burden.

Canadians pay for their social services in the same way that we do. More social services = higher taxes.

You also have HUGE sales taxes. anywhere from 5-15%, with 5% only being in alberta. The average is about 13%.

Nothing is free... but it's free in the idea that they don't have to worry about, from birth to death, if they never work, never pay a dime.. it's 100% free for that person, they will never get a bill, a phone call, nothing...

Overall, Canadians take home more money than Americans.. twist the tax, state fees, whatever... you clear more money personally in Canada than you do as an American working the same level of job.

Companies... that's a totally different story, they rape Canadian Companies.

Nysus 01-19-2010 04:39 PM

Educate yourself before spewing more bullshit. There's no evidence whatsoever that Canadians make more money than Americans.

danclips 01-19-2010 04:43 PM

"Overall, Canadians take home more money than Americans."

median household incomes for canada and US:

Canada - $53,634 CAD $51,973.08 USD
United States - $50,233 USD

Not that much more.

Nope not much at all... but just remember, they have Insurance costs built in - so we gota add ours on top :/

I have a Canadian Company and American (porn and product based) and lived in Canada legally as a company owner/worker, for 2 years.. I have a great deal of first hand experience between the two countries.. I will admit, I was "shocked" when I learned the truth...

danclips 01-19-2010 04:45 PM

Listen, if paying 10% more of my income to taxes meant that everyone on my country would have equal access to health care, I would be all for it.

But I hear this smug argument all the time that Canadians have universal healthcare, and it's free. Nya nya nya.....

I'm just here to point out to you that you are paying for it, you just don't realize it.

danclips 01-19-2010 04:47 PM

"Nope not much at all... but just remember, they have Insurance costs built in - so we gota add ours on top :/"

Now you're just not making any sense.

Basically what you're saying now is that Americans and Canadians make about the same, but canadians pay about 10% or higher in income taxes to cover health care costs. Gee, that's what I have been saying all along.

No... I said we pay about the same, they have health care costs built in, we don't. So if our tax is about the same.....and 1 person here has to pay $200 a month in insurance... the American makes less money, let alone a family, old person, or women...

danclips 01-19-2010 04:52 PM

"So if our tax is about the same..."

Our tax is nowhere near the same.

Oy. I give up.
