if you buy 60k car, few years later it will be worth $30k
buy same model used car for $30k, few years later, you will get $20k for it...

new car will cost you $30k vs used one for $10k... sure you don't get newest bells and whistles, but you still drive basically the same car, and save $20k... :2 cents:

don't gorget about repairs on old luxury cars, it can be costly

thats exactly why I am looking for a certified preowned. most of their warranties will cover for 3 years after the original 3 years.

.

You are wrong, a C65 AMG does not exist.
You mean C63 AMG!

GrouchyAdmin 04-27-2010 03:24 PM

I'd go for the 2010 9-5, or the G37 6MT.

New/used CTS-V. You WILL NOT get more power/car for the money. And with a 6.2L SUPERCHARGED engine, a simple pulley change will easily give you gobs of more power.

I have an LS 460 and I love it. I plan on driving it till it reaches 250k.

I've looked at a few of these but resale value is horrible. Thats pretty much why I would not buy any american made car is because in 2 years its worth half of what you paid. Trucks and SUVs on the other hand seem to hold of value a little better.

You could always buy one a year or two older and let the original owner eat the depreciation.

Several options if you buy a used one: Mercedes GL, BMW 6-series, Range Rover Sport, Maserati 3200 GT, Porsche Cayenne, 911.

SD check this out if you want, give it a second to load, it's a busy site, but will give you a very good idea. Also a good reference for used cars.
