looks good, maybe include a section where we can put rules when someone requests a trade like content allowed, no pop-ups, only trading with PR1,2,3, etc... so when they go to request a trade they can see the rules before they submit which will cut down on denials from webmasters as the rules will be clear from the get go.

That's a solid idea. As it is now it's hard to know what someone is looking for when you offer a trade. Do they want to do a 5 for 1 trade using stacked trades to add bulk, or only 1 for 1 trades of equal PR etc... Letting people show what they want in their profiles or something would be helpful. :2 cents:

Great idea, well executed.

Free bump for more webmasters.

hey John congrats on your launch! You're someone that knows the industry well and continues to provide us with loads of insight and tools to be successful.

Way to go man! Keep up the great job!

icymelon 05-25-2010 12:59 AM

love it thanks dude

V_RocKs 05-25-2010 03:07 AM

I second the idea to be able to put something in my profile that will be displayed at the top of my links on the stacking page.

It can say something with 250 character max like:

Don't ask for PR3 => PR0 and not have a large volume of PR2's and PR1's I can stack to get my juice back and EXPECT a stack!

edit: This place already kicks ass... I stopped using TB so stop requesting trades there!

Rochard 05-25-2010 04:05 AM

The more I use this, the more I like it. It was well put together.

Marcus Aurelius 05-25-2010 04:17 AM

it's useful

Thanks a lot guys for all the kind words, improvements are being done continually, and we've got a nice list of fixes from the first 10-11 days of users.

175 Webmasters and almost 6k domains added in first 10 days, a great response so far.

Just added 30, many more to come :thumbsup

Btw, how about listing IP on the domains? Very helpful

LeRoy 05-26-2010 11:34 AM

The IP's are there now (you can search by classes, or whole IP's) we just haven't implemented them into the lists, and probably going to incorporate them with a few other information fields. So we need to come up with a better way to show all that info. (and keep it searchable and sortable)

Thanks a bunch, lot's of thought and planning has gone into it, and it will continue to improve over the next several months, or until I'm satisfied that nothing else can be done.

Blazing 05-26-2010 11:35 AM

Very nice indeed!!

FlexxAeon 05-26-2010 11:56 AM

hey linkspun dudes. loving the product so far but having a few issues:

a) looks like I got in before registering for the site also registered us for the forum, so I'm unable to login

b) no contact email address listed from what I can see (wanted to email you about point a above

c) it looks to me like once a trade is "agreed", there's no way to remove it from that step. i had a mistake in a trade with another user. we've already made setup a new trade but would be nice to remove this erroneous one (i wouldn't have used GFY to ask this question, but see points a and b above :1orglaugh )

and... nice product :thumbsup

I'm unable to log in to the forum too.

leedsfan 05-26-2010 12:17 PM

we have already set up multiple trades with extremely ease of use. I was lucky enough to be part of the beta testing and would recommend Linkspun to anyone serious about working on their link trading efforts.

Good job Jdoughs.

Yeah, I think a few who were there prior to the user migration may need to synch up. To do this, just 'resave' your password in linkspun profile and it will synch up the forum login to work with your linkspun login.

And we are discussing methods for deletion and ways that it is a safe option (being able to edit/delete trades needs confirmation from both parties etc).

As far as contact, you can get me at jdoughs @ linkspun.com // support @ linkspun.com and through my ICQ in my sig, I'm almost always online.

Same deal as above, hit up your profile and 'resave' your password, this will synch up the forum login.

Thanks guys!

TeenSluts 05-26-2010 12:34 PM
