I live in SW Missouri.. lots of rednecks.. almost on par with Texas.
City I live in is a city of about 80k.. not too big... whatever.
The tweakers around here usually only have a successful break in when the person isn't armed.. and last I heard on the local news, about 90% of this area at least has a hunting rifle.
Now if your point is to stop only GUN crimes.. sure, may work.
My point is to protect myself and those I love. If I have a .45 which I know how to operate quite well and the tweaker has a switch blade... better chance I'll win. And if I don't, I've got bigger problems :1orglaugh
Though I'm aware the UK and most of Europe is much less of a "gun culture".. but unfortunately with the US being the "melting pot", we also get all the shit bags for immigrants too.
Half of our problems would be taken care of by legalizing drugs but most people can't see outside of the bubble. Unless it's weed. :error |
