it was a small turnout, alot of people i was looking for were sitting on ICQ back at their offices. but, there were the usual faces, plus new faces as there are new cash programs looking to come in with their own twist on things.

The show was good for t3report, lots of people were looking for affiliates and with cutbacks in marketing spending, t3report.com has become of increased interest.

all in all, it was a good show, hats off to xbiz. hats off to the sponsors to help bring it all together.

Fight the 100+ degree weather!

No shit Jay:thumbsup

This Vegas thing ended years ago, it just forgot to fall over and die. The last show I was at was in 2001, when it was a show. Now it's complete and utter crap. But there are people on this board that will say unbelievable shit "LIKE GOOD TIMES" sorry morons those good times are long over in this business.

D-Money gets his Buddy Too Short, the washed up rapped and some real ugly pole dancers and from everyone is saying way over priced drinks and lets not forget the SHADY SPONSORS.... And still people say Good Times, a giant fuck you to morons that actually were sucked into another fucking Vegas show :2 cents:

Since you had a crazy wild ass time in 1999 when money was flowing like mad, that means nobody can have fun in 2010?

You need to be snorting off hookers ass for free to have a good time and get any value?

It isn't 1999, 2000, 2001 anymore... things change. Things have changed a lot. That doesn't mean there is absolutely no value in going out and meeting with other people in the industry that you can do business with.

You just said you haven't been to a show since 2001. How would you even know?

Because you can see the results posted on this board and others, the proof is in the pictures and what other people are saying. Just a thought why not one major show a year, now the 4 or 5 now or whatever.... Just one show a year and make it mean something! Meeting people in the industry that you can do business with, really the same ones that show up to each of these events.... And we all see the pics of everyone shit faced... Does anyone ever discuss the business forms that are supposed to be a part of this, the answer is no. WHY IS THAT? We just get to see these cupcakes with their tongues hanging out :1orglaugh trying to look like they are important:2 cents:

Right, I got it. If it doesn't happen in a picture posted on GFY, it doesn't happen at all.

There are so many companies that rely on these shows Xbiz, and AVN being the tops but many others also. Neither are going to bow out and let the other one have "THE show" for the good of the industry cause the industry good is not their good. Just like the players ball guys would not decide to forgo doing the players ball cause all they could find was scum bag thieves as the sponsor.

I can at least take solace in the fact that people are making the choice to attend less shows and picking the TPF as the "ONE" they go to.

At the Players Ball? Are you judging the turnout by 8 pics, several of which were of the stage?

That is pretty good how you are able to tell how good a show is by the pictures. For the record, you are clueless. The shows are actually better now as the seminars are quite informative and topical. :2 cents:

And if you will notice, the only thing I said to you was, "At the Players Ball? Are you judging the turnout by 8 pics, several of which were of the stage?"

All show comments were directed to ContentSHOOTER...sorry you got offended... what advice did I give?

And if you look at the rest of the pics of the PB, you will see it was pretty crowded. I was surprised, actually. And no, it was not as big as an Internext PB for the simple reason that XSF is smaller than Internext.

Had a dream about this convention last night.. can't remember.. very hazy.. baddog was there..

Think it has something to do with that pic of Robbie looking like he wants to kick someone's ass (dude is buff) :)

and the fact that baddog rides a cycle from LA to AZ (last show) and I take it on the cycle again to Vegas this time.

That is so cool. So nuts and bolts. So out there. So after it. I love it. :)

Thanks for the pics baddog :thumbsup Always enjoy them.

And for riding the hot asphalt to bring them to us. :)

Maybe life doesnt end at 50 :thumbsup

Well I'm over 50 and he's older than me so it was an off handed compliment an an attempt at humor.

And Robbie, OK maybe a bit over the top there. :)

Over the top always has been and always will be my style. :)

Normal shit bores me.

Vjo 06-11-2010 06:42 PM

Unless you are over 50, you really can't talk. We'll see how many guys at 55 are pounding the pavement in their mid 50's. So yeah just a compliment and some admiration.

And I know he is about 55. Not 80.

Anything else? Or did I EXPLAIN myself enough for you.

The thing about chat boards is it is hard to express humor. Tomorrow if I read it it would prob sound wack to me too. :)

Hey we got to keep this shit fun. I try. :)

But yeah, my humor never comes thru.

Plus remember it was a dream. With baddog up to something.. I cant remember.. but it WAS honorable and on the up and up. :)

Now Robbie.. that pic is why I dreamt in the first place. lol he was up to something. :) j/k

Think I'll just stay home and let baddog pound the pavement across the desert. :)

I think he's about 55 maybe 56. He said somewhere. And us old guys notice that. :)

Fuck I think I am like about 2nd oldest that posts and admits it. Altho there were a bunch older than me in 1997. :)

[ok done editing :)]

I am over 55 and I rode my bike to Vegas in 120 degree heat. Probably not my brightest move, but we had a great time . . . and the ride home was significantly cooler (30-60 degrees cooler than Monday).

There ya go. :)

Things get way tougher at 50 than 40 altho some guys got what it takes and rock on esp if they did it all their life.

I mean riding a bike state to state aint that tough.. but I just want to say it's fucking cool. Whether you are 35 or 55. Cool lifestyle.

Nah got to give it up for Robbie.. to be a guy who sits in front of the puter 7 days a week as he says and keep himself in buff shape. He aint no spring chic either. :)

in-fucking-sane. :thumbsup

i've ridden through death valley @ ~117 when i was in my 30s. it took several hours and thought i was going to die.

it's like riding in a blast furnace and faster does not help, makes it worse, if i remember correctly but that entire leg of the journey is a foggy memory.

The windshield helps a ton. I used to do that shit sans windshield and it was like a blast furnace for sure. This was not too bad which is probably why it kicked my ass. I did not realize how dehydrated I was getting.

We took 45 minutes longer to get home. Even though it was a lot cooler we stopped a lot more frequently and hydrated.

Vjo 06-11-2010 07:42 PM

Yep and how bout mma fighter Evan Tanner.

Guy went out in the desert.. and he prepared.

How much water baddog do you bring? See right now I am already a pussy as i would prob need to carry at least 4 gallons. :) Way more than needed cause I have to feel safe. Actually that aint that much water, ok.. 3 cell phones.. for backup. :)

Tanner ran short on what water he took with him on foot and it caught up to him b4 he could get back to base.

So yeah, gotta respect heat.

the dehydration sneeks up and hits fast eh. then it's too late and hard to realize what is happening.

i was wondering if the bat wing helped or hurt. i noticed you have the deflectors on the crash bars and was wondering about those in the heat also. but yeah, i went through with no windshield/fairing.

I think I brought two 12 oz bottles. We stopped in Barstow for gas and water, then watered up about half way between there and Vegas. Not enough water.

I did not even know I was dehydrated until after I arrived and tried to exert myself a little. Immediately felt like someone put my head in a vise. The deflectors have vents I can open and close. I think they are probably of more use in the cold.

In the days b4 cellphones, and I know you drove it then too, :) it really was trusting in your bike or riding with someone.

I have a friend who rides around up here when it's -10 or colder with one blanket in the trunk. As any northerner will tell you that's crazy. :) People have and do freeze to death in their cars. Altho with cell phones much less.

Altho, how many cell phones have full desert coverage either. :)

I would feel more mechanicly sound on a bike than in a car tho.

Well, I carry two cells [two different carriers] so I am pretty well covered on I-15 between LA and Vegas. On top of that had goodgirl's Droid and two laptops with wireless cards.
