From what i read and researched you are technically correct. Thats why the slow "Auger" style juicers are preferred. But with what you are drinking in a full glass of juice, you are getting more vitamins, minerals and nutrients than your body can process at one time. What your body doesn't process and use, it will piss out of your system. Think about when you take B12 vitamins and then you go to the bathroom. You piss out florescent yellow, because your body cant processes all of it. I definitely love your input and value your opinion when it comes to Juicing. Quote:

In short, i use fruits to make the green vegetables go down easy, because i couldn't deal with the taste of spinach, celery or broccoli juice alone. Quote:
Yea, in your small world you would be right, but you would also be the same guy looking at my Presidential Rolex and say "you could have gotten a Timex cheaper".:2 cents: |
This looks like a great way to get your daily dosage of fruits and veggies. If you ever have the time, check out this documentary:
http://www.amazon.com/Beautiful-Trut.../dp/B001J66JQ8 It talks a lot about the effects of juicing and a plant based diet in regards to thwarting cancer, heart disease, diabetes, etc. I've now got this product bookmark'd. Thanks OP. |

A $10 citizen watch would do the same job as your presidential rolex (if not better) |

Cheap juicers are pieces of shit. Even $100 ones are pieces of shit. If you're going to buy one, buy one that works.

No problems with it. It makes prefect juices and can process pretty much anything i throw at it. It cost a bit less than $100. |

Need better argument than that. Looks are not everything. |
Best thread of the month. I've been training like I used to and have been having trouble with gnawing down all the green carbs and fiber I need now without cooking it & adding unwanted fat & sugar and denaturing it all to hell.
Where did you get this juicer? And where did you get the bottles that take out the air? Also, how long out of the juicer is the juice still good? Do you need to refridgerate it? Can it survive a fannypack/backpack or the hot sun? If I eat another gel or protien bar I'm gonna yak. |

I hardly ever eat raw beef, just buffalo hearts, inside round, and sometimes liver. But when I run out I head to Whole Foods and buy the NY strip grass feed beef. I don't get the same rush but at least I am not eating off my diet. I never eat meat that has been frozen or is not grass fed ass the nutrition is lower and it tastes like dog shit. Another thing you can do is eat raw eggs from chickens that are fed sprouts, greens, seeds etc. Dpn't bother with any brand that is sold in a supermarket. You have to go to the farmers for these AAA+++ eggs This is a really fast meail if you are busy. If you think raw eggs taste gross then the eggs are most likely low quality. The ones I eat don't have any funky taste at all. You should never refrigerate eggs. They keep perfectly fine at room temp for about 3 weeks after the hen lays it. I usually eat mine no more than a week after they have been laid. I help people out with this diet and ask for nothing in reteurn. I helped out one of the guys from a major program last year because he was in his 30's, with kids, and felt burnt out to the point he was a worried about his future. After a few months of working with him he was a new person. Good luck to you! |
Bookmarked...

the problem is the grassfed raw meat.. i know its good just need to get brave enough to eat it.. what have u noticed since eating raw diet? |

Used to eat small portions of ground pork sausage as a kid. In hindsight knowing how dangerous that can be with bacteria would not do it today. But as far as taste its not bad. |

As far as your question as what have I noticed from a raw diet....... I go on and off my diet. I usually go off my diet due to social reasons. When my GF and I are over and friends I don't bust out the raw food, I eat the same as the people around me. Going on and off the diet is still good but to get the full effect you need to get as close to 100% raw diet as you are able. What happens to me when I am strict is: 1. about 1,000% more energy 2. mental clarity 3. build muscle much faster 4. burn off fat 5. Want actual sex all day long (not just jerking off). I get the urge to stop being lazy and instead of just rubbing one out I feel motivated enough to spend hours pounding my GF. 6. Just feel more powerful as a person in general. When I was single I would eat a buffalo heart before going out to pick up on women. It is very difficult to stay on the diet. Even I go off it sometimes for months. |

So, I bought a Juicer...
and 3 days later are you still using it or is it no longer a novelty in a similar way to 99% of all home gym equipment only gets used once? |

I have access to all of the 24 hour fitnesses across the US. I paid in full for 3 years up front with a cheap yearly renewal. It was about $500 i payed up front. They do it like that thinking that people will just not go and not bother renewing. If you miss a renewal, you lost the cheap yearly rate. I bet there are a few here that roughly have the same deal. |
haha my friend has that juicer, he loves it.
|
Was prepared to order it online when I discovered they have a store in Manhattan Beach. $50 cheaper and no shipping costs, so I will save $100 +/-

my juicer just stands there now and collects dust.. |

Some Gym memberships are better than a hotel or even a house: The TV is always on but you can't sit down and watch it, you gotta be on a machine. The water, gas, cable and electricity is always on and air conditioning always works. You can shower, shave, work out, swim, tan, and be there 18 hours a day and never get kicked out! Alot of Gyms even have yearly locker rentals, bars & lounges, resteraunts, daycare, and pet boarding as well. Someday I'll live in an RV and the gym and keep my money in the bank where it belongs. Dave - you never said where you got your juicer or the airtight bottles or if the juice keeps in the heat. I had these backpacking containers like toothpast tubes that you squeeze food out of, will that work for storage & quick consumption? |
I got the exact same one a few months ago. It's awesome. Farmer's Market is your friend. Oranges are super cheap when you buy them 20 pounds at a time. The high speed stuff like carrots I notice leak out a little bit. I put a paper towel to the side before I put the locking clamp down. Otherwise the wall is splattered with carrot.
There is a much better juicer that uses a press technique that is supposed to get a lot more mineral content but it was like $2400. |

Cheap gym memberships are pretty trick if you can keep them. I got my Juicer at William Sonoma. They are the only one that have the 1300 watt one. Its exclusive to them only. The 1000 watt one you can find $100 cheaper and pick it up at Bed Bath and Beyond with a %20 mailer coupon and save an additional $60. In short both work well, i just went for the 1300 watt one. I am loving it. Juice all through the day the last 4 days. If you were into your health before, this will be easy for you and will really make sense too. ICQ me any time you have any questions, will be glad to offer any advice.:thumbsup |
