Actually The Italians invented professional diving. Everyone copied them. That's why they're the best.

There are at least 4 Italian led schools taught around the world showing people from Portugal, Argentina, Ivory Coats and Ghana the best way to get a foul created from nothing. In fact I'm pretty sure they showed a video already earlier in the thread.

Haha! The cheating Italians out in the 1st round .. that is just the best thing that has happened to football in years. Some of the dives these cheating pricks stage are just epic. Like that dive that cost Australia progression last WC, and the dive that got them a penalty vs NZ.

I am amazed that FIFA lets this keep happening over and over. Its the one thing that everyone hates in the game, and yet even obvious dives are just ignored and often paid by starstruck refs.

I have watched just about every Australia and New Zealand game in the past decade and I don't think I have ever seen one of the players take a dive. Just because European and now unfortunately some African teams need to cheat doesn't mean the rest of us do.
