It's not exactly a secret that online Adult is a dead industry at this point. There are not many people making money in Adult anymore.... at least not any kind of real money. Don't believe half the shit you hear from program owners saying they are making a killing or this and that because odds are most of it is just straight up bullshitting to try and make themselves look good to others still.

I've really concentrated on the program side of things, running programs etc, but in the past two years I've been working on becoming an affiliate. I have a blog network; It's easy money. I'm sure that if I did this five years ago I'd be making ten times as much, but I'm not putting much effort into it and making a ton of money.

I only have a handful of semi-active affiliates, but they account for 1/3 of my sales (new and recurring) every month - so SOME affiliates must still be doing SOMETHING right!

Though I will agree that the adult business is at an all time low and it will continue to get worse, there is still plenty of money to be made. I don't produce content, run paysites, or anything. Strictly affiliate based and still clear six figures a year. I wouldn't say that it is completely dead YET.

leon, you'd be better off converting a few of your clips to 3-5 minutes, watermarking them, and submitting them to the tubes that take submissions..

you will get conversions. it takes about 3-4 months to really get things going (traffic wise)..

the targeted niches are doing pretty well with tube traffic and i think your niche is small enough that you will get some good traffic and conversions...

I spend some time reading this hole post, and I gotta give my 2 cents...

This is a hard business to work in, and it gets worse every day. But if you find the right way to promote your stuff and keep a good percentage of the users rebilling by doing great work in the memberareas, you can survive this downfall

The strongest will be standing in the end
