Even if this is correct, (I dont have any idea) What is wrong with that? I was never under the impression that BF had leased a locale and some fiber and put a bunch of rackspace in there, I always assumed he was reselling something, because no one who is doing hosting for real has time for anything else.

When I rent an apartement I dont care if my lease agent owns the building, why should I care if the person who sells me hosting owns the data center?
