You know Pakistan isn't a State in the US right? |
It's all over Asian news networks. Not sure how much coverage its getting in the USA, but over here it's big news. So sad.
If you want excellent coverage, check out Al Jazeera's site. |

How can we save other countries when we can't even save ourselves?
Americans are dying of obesity, toxic food, drug usage, homelessness, we are all dying a slow death. Of course, we are pulling our own triggers, nature hasn't wiped us out... yet. I laugh when I see these late night commercials about saving cats and dogs for $ 20 a month. How about human beings?? Ever visit downtown Los Angeles? Skid row? Those people should have a $ 20 a month "save the homeless" commerical. Since when is it the United States of America's responsibility to play Wet Nurse to the planet? I think we should save people in our lands first and foremost so we can continue to create an environment so we can save other countries in time of crises. If we would stop going to war with every fucking nation where people wear towels on their heads, maybe we could afford to save ourselves and other nations. Spend our own money on our own existence so we can insure our nation and be able to continue playing Wet Nurse to the world. We can't keep this pace up. Saving the world while we are slowly dying? America is like a poor kid on the street, with no future, but wears a gold chain around his neck to "look good." |
they give aid to terrorist, fuck the ragheads...

After all the aid they sent to Louisiana and Mississippi after Katrina it's terrible that we aren't over there lending a helping hand.

Sometimes the world requires a people to suffer. This is one of those times.

but shouldn't the western society try to make a good impression by helping and showing tolerance instead of leaving it all to the Taliban? |

it's a tropical country that has oceans and beaches that's why hardly any of the donations have been given away so far wonder where those went hmmm nobody cares about pakistan, what's there? grass? sand? muslim? right |
After searching for 5 minutes I finally found a video. It looks bad. This could degenerate into Mad Max + Night of the Living Dead after a few weeks, if it hasn't already.

This is hilarious because it's soooo fuckin' true. LOL, why the fuck do we discuss & treat these countries like they are a burned out tiki torch out by the pool during a party? Oh my god! That one over there is acting up again! And now this one over here has sprung a leak! :1orglaugh |

In the Tsunami, and in Haiti 200,000+ people lost their lives. In Pakistan the death toll is currently around 1,000. What happened in Indonesia in 2004, and Haiti earlier this year were in the top ten worst catastrophes in recorded history. Cannot believe you two even tried to compare |

There is 177,276,594 terrorists in Pakistan. Why anyone schould send any money to them?
|
I still like to believe that donations to the Red Cross are spent on good things such as food and water for people that are starving and have no roof over their heads. I don't think you'll punish the taliban by not feeding the people that really suffer over there...

The floods, triggered by unusually heavy monsoon rain that began nearly two weeks ago, have left a swathe of destruction over 600 miles long and killed more than 1,600 people. The United Nations says the numbers affected by the flooding is 13.8million ? more than the combined total of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Haiti earthquake. |

Of course it's still sad, but the shit in the west is just as bad. But on other levels. People starve all over the west countries... and nobody cares about homeless people. Or do you? ;) |

The USA put the money is in the same bank account as when Pakistan donated to the United States when Katrina hit, they're just having trouble finding it.
