I disagree. Out of all the places where they can build a mosque, they choose that place? I realize that radical Islam is making the entire religion look bad, but it's still guilt by association in this day and age.

I think it sends a bad message because of the significance. If a church or a synagogue was build there, obviously nobody would complain. The fact that a symbol (albeit skewed) is being placed in the vicinity of the worst terrorist attack in America, is a horrible thing.
