Im in the same boat as u buddy I have money stuck in epass which i need and cant get at, U can blame Visa they hold all the cards to this, but poiting fingers and blaming Michael when he is the one person that has helped so many people in the past is not fair at all, Visa has pulled this crap before with other companys

duh. In the USA's eyes its like money laundering, tax evasion. You think VISA is going to want to get involved with that? Saw this coming years ago and never used it since. Ooh yeah, The IRS told me that. After I agreed to pay 1750/month back to them. Hope everyone gets whats in the accts.

Unless the money is seized (which would mean they are lying), they should be collecting information to ship out wires in the next 24 hours so people can get their funds.

Michael works for epass and visa and epass has the problem which michael gets the wrath...The cards are dealt like that...Its gonna be worse when they dont solve this in a timely manner...

Being skeptical of epassporte I've always carried a:

You have US$0.00 available on your ePassporte Visa Virtual Account.

Seems my instinct was right, just changed all sponsor payments to check/wire.

I am soooo glad I have nothing in epass. I always withdraw immediately. But now I am fucked. Can't use Paypal, can't use epass. Most people don't want to send wires. Thank God I just set up my store using CCBILL!!!

yes of course. Im not saying its anyones fault but my own, but look at it from VISA's side. Do they need the headache? The IRS does NOT like programs like paypal and epass. Ill say that. The problem with epassporte is you never and still dont have any recourse with them. They are on a fucking island with Poker Stars and other shady online gambling sites. Like gambling sites, they can literally steal your money and there is nothing you can do about it (except chargeback if it is a recent deposit)

God, I really hope they dont fuck people. Once you get your money off epassporte never ever use them again.

Michael, first off thanks for replying to our questions, secondly Im still very curious about the distinction between a wallet and the visa part, so physically they are two separate accounts, not virtually but physically the money is separated? Why cant you just automatically move the money into the wallet area "virtually" if its a virtual safeguard? Otherwise Im not sure it makes much sense to the layman whats going on here.

The difference is that Paypal IS a USA company so you have means to get your money back if they screw you... big difference

For those that have not done it yet, do this ASAP!!!

Log into your epass, click Edit my profile, then Wallet settings then choose...

Automate where your funds are stored:
Wallet x
Visa Virtual

Because if money comes into your Visa Virtual you are fucked to get it out.

I'm sooooooo glad I did not start using epassporte at this time...I feel for the people with funds locked up I know that can really suck. This is a major problem and most reputable companies would have this fixed asap as in 24-48 hours which hopefully epassporte does.

What do you expect him to say, if this is all resolved by the morning or alternative measures are done, they will have done the proper thing and acted professional, you'll be that guy that went asshole over a 24 outage they had no control over.

Lots of us (probably) have as much cash as you do sitting in VV that we can't touch. Im not happy but its too early to waste my time stressing about what I can't change.

Ok so visa works 9-5 mon-thursday...Which means nothing will told to us until next week sometime...Visa knew what they were doing..no backlash.
