http://krebsonsecurity.com/wp-conten...0/09/epass.png Even if the Bank can assist in helping people get their funds (someday), I would think that your lawyers might still possibly be able to go after ePassporte/SKNB in court for malfeasance/misfeasance/nonfeasance. This whole affair is a travesty. Whomever perpetrated this fiasco, ePassporte or SKNB, should ultimately be held accountable (if not both). If it were my money involved, I would yank it out ASAP, and have nothing to do with either company from hereon, since both seem to be most concerned with keeping their hands on the customers money, rather than dealing straightforward and honestly with the people whose money they were charged with managing properly so that there would be no major disruption in service in the first place (this nonsense has been going on for nearly a month now with no clear explanation that I know of from ePassporte or SKNB as to what occurred, and when/how all those affected can withdraw their VV money). :2 cents: I sincerely hope everyone gets back their money eventually. Is nobody wondering about the bank's message? they say that VISA was only shut down in LATE September! So why were we not able to access the virtual accounts then?
Also, it seems the bank wants to keep us waiting. It looked promising at first, but it could take weeks or months until they give us a real update. I think it's time for some action! |
The bank gave us nothing but another bullshit stall tactic today. I think we should proceed with legal action.

Shap, I think we're getting to the moment where the lawyers have to contact the bank! They said we'll get update how to get our money today, but instead we got nothing but added phone number!!

Your account information is already accessible by our Bank because of our legal and contractual obligations to them as our Issuing Bank. You do not need to retain a lawyer to release the information. The Bank is very concerned about our customers receiving their funds, and by banking regulations and laws they MUST release the funds that belong to you. As to when this will occur, I do not know yet. ePassporte will strive to make communications regarding this situation clear to its account holders. And some contacts with epass I have don't respond to my direct question about their partnership with SKNANB. I asked whether they ended their partnership whatsoever... no answers. I suggest that we organize a joint venture and fight for our money until last penny!! Motherfuckers!! |

Hmm... maybe ePassporte wasn't keeping track of docs well enough to conform to banking regulations so St. Kitts told VISA to shut everything off until that happens. Perhaps they are still talking and perhaps this is all just speculation.
