But now, it's like "I got five grand! I got eight grand! I got fifteen grand!!" Thanks for letting us all know who the real "playas" are round here and who's some un-important (to epassports) under-a-grand dog. :D

I "lost" around $170 money I did not even know I "had" as I haven't used epassporte for at least couple of years :winkwink:

i dont know what any of you are worried about now. it's clear that sknb's objective here is to steal epass's business. you will all get your money, and you will all use the new bank, and they will in the end fuck you all again. the sponsors won't touch this situation though. not without making an affiliate agree to the possibility of not getting paid at all if they use the service. sponsors will indemnify themselves from now on when using any of these shady pay services.

michael.kickass 09-26-2010 12:10 PM

I successfully contacted SKNANB through email and much to my surprise they responded my mail in a matter of hours. So I'm actually kinda optimistic, I have less than $1K in my VV but I still need my money. Here's what they answered me...

Quote:

Thank you for your email.

St Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited (SKNANB) is committed to adhering to Visa's stringent program requirements and maintaining the integrity of the global payment network. On instruction of SKNANB, on September 23rd, 2010, ePassporte's network access for cards issued by SKNANB was disabled. As a result, SKNANB prepaid cardholders will not be able to view their card balances through the ePassporte.com website.

SKNANB is actively working to restore, as soon as possible, SKNANB prepaid cardholders' ability to get information regarding their Visa card balances and to obtain access to all their Visa card funds. SKNANB prepaid cardholders can expect further communication from SKNANB on or before September 30th 2010. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your SKNANB prepaid card, please contact SKNANB at [email protected]. In addition, a dedicated telephone line will be setup shortly for customers to call.

SKNANB appreciates your continued patience.

not sure if this helps but i spoke to someone from Payoneer in Amsterdam and he said the money is indeed safe since it's under control of Visa and they can't simply keep it. it will be released, it's just a question when.

???? To the best of my knowledge. Your money is under control of (and held by) the bank! Visa is just a trade organization of sorts. Non-profit at that.

Huge props to Shap for taking initiative. I hope all you fellas band together and get your hard earned $ back.

I am sorry to interject some reality to the situation, and I know I won't win friends with this post, but I really hate to see people misled and waste money.

As I said way back on the first page, this thread was over dramatic and pointless until people clarified the settlement or reactivation procedure with the bank.

When the bank opened next day, they immediately indicated their intent to restore access to balance information and funds, and have given an indication of date when they believe that will be possible which is pretty reasonable considering what is involved.

IF the bank do not believe that they are able to pay what is owing to people (who can prove their identity), then no end of chest beating and ambulance chasing lawyer instructing will change that, no matter how many of you join with Robin Hood Shap.

They won't settle loudest first and continue on a first come first served basis until the money is gone, it will be all or none, because showing preference is also an offence in insolvency/bankruptcy which I don't think will be the case here but would be the ONLY reason you wouldn't get paid out....if you were able to prove your identity of course.

To be honest probably not much. I was just updating people

SZNY 09-27-2010 02:46 PM

Good initiative, I still have some money on VV (around $600) and also some on the wallet.

Just before they disabled the VV I transferred funds to other Epass accounts of studios, amateur models and affiliates by the business account.

All that money is now somewhere in frozen ebanking space.

Also keep in mind that if yes we all getting our money back a lot of people experienced problems and damages on their side and this has enough coverage to sue the bank, VISA or Epass!

Maybe that is also something you can discuss with your lawyer if there are some changes to claim.

tigermtb 09-27-2010 03:04 PM

Shap, please contact me.

I've been waiting 2 business weeks for a $xx,xxx wire with absolutely no progress.

I dont see personally how Visa would be at fault in this, they just put their brand on the cards after agreeing to work with the bank, but they dont control the money in any way. If the Bank comes through and gives us access to the money then it clears them of any wrong doing. So it leaves Epass ... and i agree, no company should get away that easy after doing something like this ,whatever problems they had i am sure they were given a deadline to fix them , they didnt, they should be held responsible for the damage they made to people who trusted their service.

I'm not to known who is here the faulty one but indeed some is responsible and should to pay for it, lots of people/companies are damaged and if there is some collective case it will only makes it stronger to get compensated.

Agent 488 09-27-2010 03:55 PM

shap pressure these scum.

llporter 09-27-2010 04:25 PM

$1,850 in VV ... updates to llporter at gmail please... thanks

Jman 09-27-2010 04:36 PM

Shap,

I got this message today and my VV balance is not available as your lawyer said anything about this. Looks like epass is trying to wash their hands off the VV accounts. Hope people took some screenshots ;-)

Dear ePassporte Account Holders

St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank, without our prior knowledge, has turned off the ability for ePassporte to access or display Account Holders' Visa Card balances. This means that when you login to your ePassporte Account, you will only be able to see your Wallet balance. As a consequence, inquiries regarding your Visa Card balance must be directed to St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank. St Kitts Bank is responsible for all funds on Visa Cards. Their contact information is as follows:

St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Ltd.

Central Street,
P.O. Box 343
Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies

Tel: (869) 465-2204 Mon - Thurs: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Fri: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Fax: (869) 465-1050
Email: [email protected]

ePassporte will continue to provide support with regard to the funds in your Wallet. We kindly ask for your patience as we must verify Accounts and balances manually.

Thank You,

ePassporte Account Holder Services

J. Falcon 09-28-2010 05:48 AM

This thread deserves a bump.

Automagick 09-28-2010 06:32 AM

Any news? I would like to know about Shap's lawyer.

Thanks.
I had only $117 in my VV (thank the loooord!)

gpaps 09-28-2010 06:46 AM

Just came back and saw your thread. Count me in shap.

Got a few G's stuck in VV although transfers from my wallet to CC on file work fine so far.

What do I have to do to help out?

Shap 09-28-2010 07:03 AM

Hi guys. Nothing new to report. It looks like they aren't responding to anything until the 30th. I'll keep you posted. They seem to be very keen on taking over and running the Virtual Visa business. The question is do they have the $$$$ to fund the run. The total from this thread alone is over 3million now (including people that have contacted me privately).

With our balance that as disappeared from epassporte VV the bank is taking over $0 funds to handle atm.

Meorazhar 09-28-2010 07:32 AM

I suppose there won't be any run. They'll set daily limits of $300 and increase the withdrawal fee to some $5 per transaction.

mn 09-28-2010 07:35 AM

$3m is nothing for that bank.....

Yanks_Todd 09-28-2010 08:51 AM

count me in for $2200

waltercooper 09-28-2010 09:00 AM

I bet 2$ that the money on the VV is safe and will be recovered.
This is a fucking big bank, its first aim is financing this fucking island.
ePass is not material for this bank.
All is ok. The money is not in motion...
The bank is ok. The last financial ratio of this bank lead me to think that its probability of ruin should be above 10% over a one year period (ie a 90% VaR). It's not very good, but it's not too bad.

HorseShit 09-28-2010 09:53 AM

175M is in VV i heard

Thanks for the update Shap. I guess we'll have to wait until Thursday.
