Started 3 weeks ago, haven't eaten any bread, sugar or fast food since, I'm starting to feel the difference, getting older, better loose the extra pounds and live longer
|
I lost 32 lbs in 2 months It?s easy to fall into thinking a lot about what you can?t eat, but its much better to focus a little more on what you can eat. It's probably best to keep it very simple and not cut everything out all in one shot.
The first 10 to 15 days of a diet can be difficult. I have done more than 10 in 15 years. The temptation when trying out a diet especially if its your first attempt can be tough on you. However good luck, try to stick to it and exercise a lot without over doing it and once you lose the pounds you wanted to, don't stop the exercising and avoid feasts :) I fall for it every time and after 3 months of diet 18 months later I have it all back on me. |

One thing regarding the many small meals throughout the day, most people believe it boosts your metabolism and/or prevents your body from going into starvation mode. Both are actually unproven/false claims. The many small meals, has never been proven to boost metabolism and is actually far off from the eating habits of our ancestors. The starvation mode, only kicks in after 24-48 hours (scientifically proven), so eating often to prevent it really has no bearing on the fact if you do plan to eat daily. |
congrats, sweetie! It feels great to look at oneself in the mirror and say "wow I look good"
keep it up! |

Also have the same experience - whenever I put my eating regime and body to work I just feel very uneasy about eating anything junk like, almost like a physical aversion. |
I lost 18 lbs since march when a guy here posted his weight loss in pics, that inspired me to get away from the pc and into the gym, so far so good! cheers dude, whoever you are..

I'm at nearly 185 now myself after starting out at 130 in this biz 11 years ago. I think my goal will be 200.

Congratulations on the weight loss.
I am trying to do something similar. I weigh in once a month. started a couple months ago. lost 12 lbs last weigh in. No real plan, I just am making sure I eat something when I wake up. Yogurt or something. Then small meals or snacks. Drinking mostly water or tea. |

now i'm starting to think i may have an actual problem.
i'm eating large amounts of food, (pasta and stuff that should pack on poundage), but still losing weight. down three more pounds this morning and no end in sight.. if i dip into the 170's it might be doctor time. |
congrats :)
