1) Someone's watching our asses from up there
2) A Super nova is flying our way, bye bye everyone
3) It's a go go for the mars mission
4) They have found another planet

Nonsense. There is no "populating" mars stuff going on yet. Not for another 100 years AT LEAST.

ya, I've been watching too much Science Channel... A few different shows have said that is the worst case scenario.. if a near earth object comes from behind the sun it is not visible from Earth due to solar glare until it's too late to do something...

It wouldn't be a planet. Gaseous or earthlike. They are using other telescopes to monitor the search in that area.

Planets don't emit Xrays, which is the viewing component of Chandra. Although planets can reflect xrays passing infront of a sun for a corona affect, I would highly doubt they are using it for that.

More like quasars coming out of a black hole, super novas, galaxy collisions, peering into nebula clouds to see star formation. Things that emit light. Being that xray is a spectrum of light...

My guess is a super nova. That's been their main target lately.
