Adult Virtual Convention....
 

I did some searching and it seems a lot of you guys and gals might not know about this, so I'll get this topic rolling.....

ADULT VIRTUAL CONVENTION is taking place Feb 24th - Feb 26th (special Industry day is Friday the 24th) inside "Red Light Center" the MMORPG from Utherverse.

The 3 day event will feature parties, exhibit booths, porn star meet and greets, speaking panels and more!

Registration is 100% free if you just want to attend, network and check it all out AND if you want a booth there are still some available for $99 (Keep in mind the bulk of the show is geared toward B2C so you'd want to promote to surfers (but don't forget Friday is industry day!)

Myself, I have a booth in the "Green Hall" and I'm am also sponsoring the After Party on Sunday, as well one of the speaking panels,

I will also be on a speaking panel with Zak Zarry from Utherverse & Max Bapstist from Bonetown on Friday.

This also marks my very first convention in my 15 years in the biz (even though it's virtual it still counts right? :1orglaugh )

I think something like this is a TRUE no brainer and I encourage all of you to at least register to attend and see what it is all about, IF you want to pick up a booth, get in touch with me (AFTER you get setup with the convention people) and I might be able to help you build your booth (LIMITED NUMBER OF THIS AVAILABLE!!!!)

Also If you're going to do a booth and you want me to help build it make sure when you contact the convention people to register you let them know that "Loki3D" from LokiCash might be building your booth for you, so they can add me to your building/decorating permissions.

(I'm NOT being paid by anyone for this, I'm doing this to help out the event in the hopes that it is more successful!,

I feel that this type of venue with an ESTABLISHED Consumer base is not only a great cost effective way to get your brand out to new people, but with the growing popularity of these MMORPG'S you kind of SHOULD be looking into this in the first place!)

Oh, before I forget, this convention is TRULY a VIRTUAL CONVENTION...

I've attended a few mainstream "virtual conventions" and it was really nothing more then moving my mouse around a flash "hall" and clicking on a booth to have a webpage launch explaining the product or service.

THIS ONE HOWEVER....

YOU create your avatar, walk around the convention, sit down in chairs, meet actual people, chat with them via text or voice (VIP'S ONLY) Dance, eat, drink, drugs (yeah it's funny too lol)

So before anyone asks "How 'Virtual' is it" I figured I should should answer that off the bat lol.

If you've ever checked out World Of Warcraft, or Second Life, it's very similar to that, walk, talk, move around etc etc.

this has got to be a practical joke- seriously!

Why is that?

Stuff like WOW and Secondlife have huge memberbases and internal communities as well as events that happen 'in game' and RLC is no different in that regards.

I honestly don't know why it's taken this long for something like this to be done in our industry!

if you cant scrape together 2 nickels to go to a real show you may be in the wrong line of work

So, I guess you've not spent much time in those 'games' then? or seen the many documentaries like "Life 2.0" (It won some awards too)

There are people in second life for example who make 6 figures a year just creating clothing and building stuff for people in the game.

With RLC for example you could create your own night club, sex club whatever, and then CHARGE A COVER for people to attend events inside your club and YOU get that money.

Many actual companies have things like this in RLC right now, just sign up free and walk around the world and see all the familiar brands that are in there now and successful.

Now, as far as this convention goes, it's part industry (day 1) and then Consumer (day 2 and 3) so what you should be thinking IF it applies to you....

"I could promote my brand/s to all those (PAYING MEMBERS... meaning they already pay for porn) if I spend a few bucks"

Even if it's not "YOUR THING" It's your current and potential customers you need to think about. :2 cents:

It has nothing to do with having nickles to rub together, this is a virtual convention that will have active porn / adult buyers (customers) attending (as well as industry people for the industry day)

ME, NOT being involved with this and or NOT attending this would be my call to retire from this industry and go get a 'real job' :1orglaugh

Sounds like it's kind of halfway between GFY and a convention. Online conversation like GFY, but in real time like a convention. If it were focused to B2B I might check it out.

Friday Feb 24th is strictly a B2B event day, networking, speaking panels, and an opening party at the end of the day.

Sat and Sun (feb 25th & 26th) are the B2C event days

To register to attend the convention, you need to create an account (free) at red light center

I was trying to register to attend and the site was freezing up on me but it works now. I'm actually looking forward to checking this out, I've never pushed games much with the exception of the occasional banner on one of my blogs, so I'm gonna try and build a few gaming only blogs and see what happens...

I don't know about "virtual spliffs" but there's a couple hookahs and some comfy couches in our booth :winkwink:
