Your "Sunday Dinner" ???
In the UK, is traditional to have a "Roast Dinner' on a Sunday.
Traditional style of dinner looks like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...y.Roast-01.jpg So, In about 4 hours time, I'll be sitting down to Roast Beef, Roast Spuds, Mashed Spuds, Peas, Carrots and Gravy... Do you have a special dinner on a Sunday wherever YOU are in the world, and if so, what is it? (Traditionally) ??? |
That explains a lot.

No traditional food here, but I'm going to give some Chicken Tikka Marsala a try, and see how it turns out tonight.
I can do great curries, but first time cooking this one, so wish me luck! :-) http://blogchef.net/wp-content/uploa...a_masala_1.jpg |

It's kinda my new hobby. Goto Google Images, type in a protein (chicken/pork/beef/shrimp/whatever), then a couple random letters, and it'll suggest me food I've never heard of before. I just browse the images until I find something that looks tasty, then search for a recipe for it. A guy gets tired of eating the same old shit all the time, so this works! |

Fake friends on Facebook love food bulletins - especially when embellished with pics. They can salivate over the food on-screen while providing you with their latest Farmville progress. |

Parents were supposed to come up for football and bring some food, but my mother had an emergency at work, and the whole 5th floor of one of the office buildings she runs flooded with 3' of water, including her office. So needless to say, I'm sitting here eating a bologna sandwich for now as I don't feel like cooking. :(

I can't afford Roast Dinner

On Sundays the wife, toddler and I go to Yo Sushi. I know it's about as crap as sushi goes, but it's near by and the kiddo can eat a lot on their belt. (He's got a soy allergy, and it's hard to find places that are good about keeping their dishes allergy-free.)
And they've got an all-you-can-eat thing that saves us a few pounds over the usual bill. http://yinnyang.co.uk/wp-content/upl...t_discount.jpg |
