Too many complains on Paxum. That is why I will never use them for my product.

Klen 10-19-2012 12:05 AM

Yeah they didn't accepted my first id scan too,so had to do "pro" scan and then it worked.

V_RocKs 10-19-2012 12:18 AM

I scan passports cheap

Black All Through 10-19-2012 12:31 AM

I had the same issue 3 attempts before they accepted a bill with my new address on it and the funny thing was the digital photo that they finally did accept was the worst in quality.

k0nr4d 10-19-2012 01:07 AM

I submitted two tickets regarding changing the address my new card is going to get sent to and haven't gotten a reply in over a week either, and now my card has probably been sent to my old address.

anexsia 10-19-2012 01:30 AM

Seems like Paxum is a pain the ass to deal with...I have a Paxum account but I have never used it. I prefer having my affiliate payments sent as good ole fashioned checks.

k0nr4d 10-19-2012 02:48 AM

oh - bonus - they just emailed me saying my drivers license is expiring and i need to upload a new document because evidently my identity expires with my license?

Hi Buzz,

I'm sorry for your frustration. In order for us to provide a legitimate and secure service we must request high quality identification for every single one of our clients. We have a specially trained verification department whose only role is to authenticate documents. There are certain requirements to ensure the validity of submitted documents, and being able to see all safety features of your document is one of those requirements.

While it can be annoying, it is imperative that we have this documentation for the legitimacy of our business. Please get in touch with me with your Paxum account email address and I'd be happy to look into your situation personally.

Email - [email protected]

Thanks in advance.

Ruth :)

Hi konrad,

When you next login to your Paxum account please scroll down to where you see Mastercard (on the Account Overview page) and click the link that indicates Card Renewal and Shipping Address. What you see there should be the address where your card is shipped.

If you're still unsure, please take advantage of our Message Center and submit a ticket requesting confirmation of the address where your card has been shipped. You should receive a response within 24 hours of submission.

With regards to your document expiration. As explained earlier, it is imperative that we have up-to-date documentation for every single client using our service. Mastercard and our banking partners demand a certain level of KYC (Know Your Customer) in order for us to operate as a legitimate business. While it can be annoying and seem unnecessary, please be advised it is in fact crucial that you provide the requested document in order for us to be able to continue providing you with our services.

Feel free to contact me directly if you need any further assistance. (Contact info is in my sig)

Ruth :)

Hi anexsia,

I'm sorry you feel that way. Receiving money to your Paxum account is instant and very easy. To withdraw those funds is also easy, particularly if you have a Paxum Mastercard. If you don't have one, you can request one at any time, or you can withdraw your funds via wire, check, EFT/ACH, or to an already existing credit card.

We provide multiple options so that you can manage your money in the way most suitable to your needs.

If you have any particular concerns I could help you with, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Ruth :)

Hi Slick,

Thank you for posting! Since Paxum officially launched we have approved and verified thousands of accounts without any problem. Many have found it to be very straightforward to verify a Paxum account. I'm glad you had a good experience.

Best,

Ruth :)

Hi romeo22,

Paxum clients outside of North America who are unable to provide an International Passport for verification must provide us with two (2) picture ID's. These can be government ID's, drivers license, national ID, military ID, etc. I'm sorry you're having difficulty obtaining the right documents, but please rest assured that your account will be activated as soon as we receive the correct documents for complete verification.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you need further assistance.

Ruth :)

Hi geedub,

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Paxum account. I'd be happy to try to help you if you'd like me to look into anything for you. Please feel free to contact me and let me know how I can be of assistance.

Best,

Ruth :)

I went to my bank once the day after my birthday. My ID card just happened to expire that year, on my birthday. They absolutely would not help me with anything because of that.

Although I could go 10 feet to the left and use my ATM card in the machine.

Logic. Not so common.

If you were to try to leave the country on an expired passport, you would be turned back at customs/border control, even if your ID had expired just one day before. As soon as an ID expires it is useless for proving identity since it is no longer classified as valid, even though you are still the exact same person.

This is why it is important for Paxum to maintain up-to-date records of such things. By requesting such documentation we ensure that we can continue to provide the service so many webmasters and business owners find useful for instantly sending and receiving their payments.

I added my address. It says active, but i'm unable to select it on the page that lets me pick where to send it. It doesn't appear in the dropdown.

In order for the address to display on the dropdown menu you must first verify the address. This can be done by submitting a Utility bill or Bank/Credit Card statement, or drivers license for proof of address. The document must be high quality, uncropped and in full color.

Please submit the documentation securely through your account - My Account>>>Profile Settings>>>Street Address Confirmation (you should see a 'Confirm Now' link next to the address in this section) and our verification department will evaluate the document for approval.

Once the new address is verified then it will be available on the dropdown menu.

If you no longer have access to the address currently verified on file with us, then please open a ticket in the Message Center requesting the status of your renewed card and its shipment.

I would only send my drivers license. All you need to open an overseas shell corp in someone else's name that you control is a good passport scan, a shady notary and proof of residence like a utility bill.

Matyko 10-19-2012 12:48 PM

this thread made me check and fix my possible issues, so I emailed Ruth, who replied a few hours later saying they checked everything, fixed some bug showing my documents are expiring and I can sit back and relax. = Like, satisfied user here :pimp

Hey all, another way to look at this -- if they make it a pain to authenticate yourself, maybe it's even harder for an identity thief to do the same. The short-term pain here might be worth limiting the risk of losing it all where your money is involved.

LeRoy 10-19-2012 02:51 PM

Hope you Paxum guys are getting paid well!

Takin all this flack on the forums sux :2 cents:

Supz 10-19-2012 03:32 PM

a few things ive always wondered about paxum. How come people complain on the boards and then Chris and Ruth come and and say to contact them for help. How come they dont see the original trouble tickets? Why does it take a board complaint to actually get help?

second,

Why do all these answers sound like complete horseshit?
"We have a specially trained verification department whose only role is to authenticate documents." Sure ya do. How come you have this is Chase, BOA and Wells Fargo dont need special people to verify documents? If something like this takes more then 5-10 minutes. I would not do business with you.

BAKO 10-19-2012 03:43 PM

I love my Paxum card :-)

I have multiple bank accounts in several countries around the world, personal and business. Not once, not even in the USA, has any one of them ever asked me to give them another ID once the one they have on file expired. I provided my identity once to them already, I do not need to do so every 4 years. Your bank is must be under serious scrutiny from someone, because if they don't make us jump through the same hoops with USA banks, but they do yours, that says a lot.

Except this is not travel. This is proving your identity, which does not change when your ID expires. John Doe does not cease to be John Doe after his ID expires. And you are not proving identity, because you already proved it when you opened the account.

Various states within the USA will honor your drivers license and give you another one so long as you apply for the new one within one year of the current one expiring. You just walk in with your expired license, 11 months later, and you get a new one. No other ID needed to verify anything. Easy peasy.

I've been trying to get my documents accepted for the past week. I finally just gave up today.
