Looks like theres no meat on that one haha
|
That looks awesome.
|
Next time stuff a few garlic cloves in the meat.
It's a nice extra flavor. |
I fried one on thanksgiving, but decided to smoke a turkey and ham for Christmas dinner
|
Tracy and I were talking about this the other day. I have never tasted fried turkey. We (and my family) have always enjoyed baked turkey on christmas. It takes about 5 hours to bake one and the house smells amazing all day of course. Will have to try your way one day.

I agree...there's no better way to make a turkey. It comes out so fucking juicy.
But there's too much of a "science project" thing for me to attempt myself. Also, I don't want to end up looking like I just stepped out of a Hellraiser movie. |
Looks very nice :-)

Very Nice!

I do a fried and baked turkey every year for Thanksgiving. The fried one this year was amazing. Injected it with a garlic, butter mix first.
|
Ahh nothing like a good ole turkey fry. You should try peanut oil too, we've done that here with great results!

Only had a fried turkey once; guess they did not know what they were doing as it seemed greasy to me.
