Actually, the gas contract had no pricing attached, and as such just carries on in the same vein as these talks have been going...which has been for the last 10 years!

So yes, a bilateral agreement was signed...but they failed to agree on a deal.

For starters, in Ontario, I am not allowed to directly consume electricity generated by solar panels. I would have to sell it back into the grid.

Plus the unsubsidized cost of installing a solar roof is prohibitive and will not result in any savings over the life of the product.

Then there are performance issues. The doesn't always shine.

The whole FIT program in Ontario is one of the worst government boondoggles in the history of humanity. It is nothing but a huge subsidy program for the guilty feeling sheeple who believe all of the doom-and-gloom warm-monger and green bullshit.

In the end I would still be heating my house with natural gas so what the hell is the point?

Regarding prices they really came down a lot since 2010 and the income I get from selling the power is always more then my electric consumption so it pays back even if i don't like to the way it works with micro fit.

A few years ago I had to replace the entire roof and estimates for normal asphalt shingles were in the 17K ballpark and solar shingles 30k. so i opted for solar shingles so basically i only paid 13k for it.

We changed heating from gas to electricity and apart from December, January and February the power out is always more then power in.

Now in Algarve different story , paid 12 000 euros for it , Portuguese government gave 30% back and i keep what i need and sell only what i don't need.

IN Europe many cars are using LPG, but most important is that industry is using it. With price up, final products will be more expensive.

Russians are not idiots, they won't raise prices for EU, they just showed them where they can be listening to USA and that they have alternative to EU bullshit.
