McDonald?s under fire after hidden footage reveals the truth behind McNuggets
 

Undercover video released on Wednesday by animal rights organization, Mercy for Animals, shows how chickens are treated before being turned into McDonald?s famous Chicken McNuggets.

The graphic footage was filmed at T&S Farm in Dukedom, Tennessee by an investigator for Mercy for Animals, who applied for a job at the Tyson Foods-contracted farm earlier this year.

The covert activist, who worked at T&S in July and August, captured images of workers beating chickens with nails attached to makeshift clubs and stepping on the heads of live chickens. One employee can be heard on video asking, ?You don?t work for PETA, do you?? before bludgeoning a chicken to death with a homemade spiked bat.

I've eaten their McNuggets, and this video showing how some of the nuggets came to be is somewhat emotionally distressing. If I had a litigious mindset I might consider suing McDonalds for ONE MILLION DOLLARS. :1orglaugh

If you click the video (not recommended), you'll see they're clubbing sick and unwanted chickens. They're putting the ones they hit into buckets to discard. Then the sick fuck making the video tries to find twitching ones to show. :disgust

So, none of the chickens that suffer this fate are eaten. This story is stupidly biased and has almost nothing to do with mcdonalds. Anyway, I'm just relieved my mcchicken sandwich was treated humanely.

Like it would be much different in any other similar farm. We have had these revelations many years ago and our farming was in better shape to start with than in America. As a result from these revelations for example organic eggs market share rose to about 10 %.

But about the treatment; it wouldn't take that much more trouble to finish off the chickens before putting into the bucket. Also, the treatment and lives of animals should be seen as a whole, in good and in the bad.

They don't kill 120k chickens in a day, they have that much chickens. That guy seems to "kill" (remove) unwanted chickens (sick, deformed or whatever). He just doesn't do the killing that well.

The production is probably very automated, like a ecosystem of its own.

What if the particular chicken was sold elsewhere. Just because they bought chickens from a farm doesn't mean McDonalds has any responsibility. Bit like suing Santa for a bad Christmas.

how can you love that crap? I've had a couple of times but every time they were tasteless dry and shitty, i find it astonishing that mcdonals is able to remove any type of flavour a chicken originally has.

What's really crazy is that here in Holland we've got the best fries in the world. And that some people think cardboard fries from McD's taste good! If you are used to the best fries in the world, McD's fries are so below par, if there was a scale it wouldn't even be on it.

Contrary to popular belief, fries here are even way better than belgian fries.

what is so good in these fries ? basically its nothing more than potatoes, oil and the way of preparing it. if someone will not use the same oil 20 times, all fries should be good....

there is so much difference in taste in other countries just in the fries, it's amazing. I have never had fries i can get here in any other country.
Also, mayonaise tastes very different in other countries as well. Belgium and France have the worst, it tastes like sour yoghurt.

Just come and visit holland, go to any local snackbar and order some fries. It's the only way you'll understand :winkwink:

There's no way I wouldn't be able to blow my cover. After the first 10 seconds of that video when the completely loser piece of shit hits that chicken, I would have knocked him to the ground and beat him unconscious.

I've not ate at McDonalds in at least 20 years, Cannot believe people still do.
