Shave it all off. Bald men get women wet.

I cut my losses years ago like this, but then oddly it's started coming back now at age 41, it's quite confusing, never expected this, haven't been using any treatments, had long given up

Amputation is the only answer

Amputation of hair or the the head itself?

slapass 11-21-2017 05:48 PM

Hair transplant. It is amazing.

You got one, how much?

slapass 11-21-2017 05:50 PM

You are on my ignore list so hard for us to talk but a good job is expensive and takes you back 20years.

Would love it, as I assume my hair isn't going to grow itself back 100%, whatever strange thing is going on now, I am not too optimistic

Is your transplant still sticking around or is it slowly going?

poncabare 11-21-2017 07:01 PM

Yep, gotto be done, nice not to have to spend time on it in the morning, doesn't need washing as much

Rochard 11-21-2017 07:22 PM

I have a receeding hairline, but no hair loss. I'm good.

I've never been one for hats. Always seems to me like men who wear hats have problems.

What about a male hairpiece? Not the obvious ones but an expensive one maintained by a professional for a realistic look. An ex of mine went bald at 23 but for fringe around his ears. At 38 he looked 50 so we went to a salon specializing in male hair replacement. Ten years ago it was $1k plus $45 a month for removal, trim then reattachment. He looked twenty years younger but felt a million times more confident.

Minoxidil was touted as the miracle cure about a decade ago. I remember the high prices due to shortages made the news daily.

I'm not one for hats either, nobody recognizes me when I wear one. Has to be really cold

Glad you never had to experience real hair loss, it's pretty annoying at that start, especially if you are in your early 20's

For me it always felt too fake, too much of a lie :2 cents:

I have seen some good ones, Ben Affleck's is pretty convincing

It must help a lot with confidence, especially if you're in good shape and reasonably good looking

Tried that early on, it did slow things down, but no cigar.

I'm not going bald, but I already shaved mine off. I haven't gone full razor shaved chrome dome yet, but I keep it skin short and will never grow my hair out again. I got tired of wasting the 30 seconds a day I needed to style it.

I'm saying, the best cure is to not hold on to it. Just shave it off because you might actually look better with no hair. Looks is what this is all about....right?

Matt 26z 11-21-2017 11:30 PM

I haven't studied this closely, but as far as I know Minoxidil stops individual hairs from entering dormant stages. So it just looks like you've got more hair. But the balding continues.

Propecia seems to be the one that stops the hairloss for some guys. But it is a preventative measure thing that guys wait too long to get on.

I never thought I?d go this long with a full roof.

bns666 11-22-2017 02:19 AM

it's not a cure for baldness, but i noticed when i drink burdock root and nettle root tea, my hair gets darker, thicker and stronger, also grows faster.

so when i shave sides and back of my head, looks like there's more on top :)

I find it amusing that the OP thinks he might find a cure for male pattern baldness on a porn webmaster forum. A problem that has defeated the collective resources of the cosmetic and medical industries might give up its secrets in the inane drivel spouted on GFY. Bear in mind a genuine cure would make the company that releases the product insanely rich, the OP thinks that someone here might just be sitting on the alchemists magic, but be to lazy or stupid to realise.

It says a great deal about how he views the voracity of his internet research........

Your 'logic' only works if there is a product which can be patented, whereas if the cure is lifestyle/dietary changes, or a product already available in the shops for other purposes, then if anything paid shills on line will spread misinformation to shed doubt

They both can slow things for sure, there are downsides to health with Propecia though :2 cents:

I'm fortunate that when I'm slim and fit I do suit the shaved head, just have to focus on staying as slim and fit as possible :thumbsup

I remember a guy who massaged eggs in to his head in the 80s...some legend stoked him that it cures baldness...
