Or can we change the name of this forum to "Politics" and start a new "Simply Business" board?

Almost all the threads are divisive and political. Maybe that's entertaining, but by now it seems clear that this is what this board is, and it's only getting worse. I believe it kills any actual business discussions.

I've said it before.... GFY needs to become a general message board with a section for adult webmasters....

Make sections for general, adult webmasters, porn, politics, cars.... And just put plain old ads up.

The facts are you've been a member since 2007 with 264 posts which is 1.8 posts a month and you're demanding the board change for you.

It seems these "change" threads are always by people who aren't active contributors that have an agenda to make us give you our info & knowledge of which people like you never to rarely contribute to giving back other than continually asking us questions to drain our knowledge and never giving us your knowledge in return.

I am a very established adult web master (since 1995) and owner of several major adult industry companies.

If you check my post history, you will find that I mostly post about business (but these days, it's hard not to read the political threads and sometimes I'm compelled to put in my opinion). As I mostly do post about business, and since business threads don't require as much back and forth, my post count is relatively low for the time I've been a member here.

My political leaning is that I am a "Classic" liberal. I do have some leanings towards libertarianism, but in the most general sense, liberal. But I loath hypocrisy, and I call it out whenever I see it (on the right OR on the left).

My new favorite saying is that the left isn't always right, but the right isn't always wrong (though most of the time they are lol).

It may surprise you to find that I mostly agree with and support your positions when I read your posts. It's just that I can be vocal when I disagree.

I've posted many times that I support a separate politics forum if that's what the owner wishes. I'll always follow the command of the admins/moderators/owners here.

It would be really cool and actually useful because this place has some very intelligent small business owners and entrepreneurs, who are properly knowledge full and have a lot of experience.

Myself and others disagree with the notion that drama is keeping this dead board alive. To the contrary, many think it's causing its downfall.

Regardless of the porn title, this place has served as a huge influence and a proper resource for people wanting to make money online for fifteen years.. Which it could easily do again if directed in a productive direction.

Until then, the political threads started daily by the dozens via the usual suspects will always drown everything else out. Others have tried and failed, the only time it "took" was when the main astroturfer was temporarily banned.

I like having the fucking around part, as well as the business part. I like to get to know people I might want to work with and vice-versa.

It is just the repetitive tedious pre digested political conversations which make it so I barely ever visit GFY any more. I used to keep a GFY tab open most of the time.

Type it out via the "New Thread" button.
Hit post.

Try one a week and see the response. Of course if you want to see all the business in a separate thread to keep the political one popular. Go ahead.

Well I've only made 344 posts in 10 years (mostly because Im only interested in the business stuff) but as a paying advertiser on this board, I for one would welcome a business only forum.

Imagine how much business would of been here if you had made a greater contribution?
