I was living in Texas working for the Discovery Channel on a TV show called Fast N Loud / Gas Monkey Garage.

Now I am living in Colombia South America shooting content and consulting for some paysite programs.

Yeah I traveled a lot after I sold my adult program.

Then got into mainstream and Amazon FBA so I attended a lot of those convensions.

Got a nice RV and traveled in that for a while. Now I am in South America.

Which year was that ? I hit all the of the LaLExpo since they started until they canceled the one last year in Cartagena. I had already booked my flights and hotel so I decided to go anyway and wound up just staying.

What happened here since 2009?

The first one. We stayed 2 or 3 weeks longer.
Remember taking pictures with a big lens on a walking tour.
And a woman that stumbled out of a bar with a knife in her shoulder after a fight.

I didn't visit another event in Colombia (yet).

If anyone cares to list them, you may be kind of sad.

Ohhh yeah.

Yeah we went on the walking tour in El Centro and the tour guide looked at my photography rig that was like $10,000 USD in gear and he said that it would be dangerous walking in that area with all that gear.... I just laughed at him. I have been in way more dangerous places!

Yeah that was a good knifing.... those are my usual hang out now.

Yes, we thought all the criminals would think it was a prank, or a police set up, when walking around a bad neighbourhood with 10K gear :)

I am going to Mexico soon, maybe i visit Colombia again next year. It is a travelhub now, many flights go by Bogota. Had a stopover there 3 months ago on the way to Brazil.

Yeah I think it is way more dangerous now because 10 years ago there was not that many gringos here. Now with all the Passport Bros / Joes flashing their jewelry and money around there are a lot more opportunists looking to take advantage.
