Dubai - Nice or Not Nice? Throwing people in jail wtf
 

A British man and woman have been sentenced to three months in jail in Dubai after being found guilty of having sex on a beach and they were fined 1,000 dirhams (£160 or $350). And fined for being drunk in a public place.

At first I was like WTF, but it's a Muslim country, laws are in place, so I guess people should be paying more attention to the laws of the place you're traveling to.

However 3 months in jail? You've got to be kidding me. Good luck having porn on your laptop if you visit.

I can not really recall many countries in Europe that allows that either, nor even South America. Sure it happens but at least people hide enough so they do not get caught that often. But fact remains it is illegal in most parts of the world as well.

contrary to popular believe .. porn site are not really blocked in china .. as a matter of fact . . they sell porn there very open and public . .have sex shops . .etc . .

In that article it states that a policeman told them to stop with a warning and left. He came back later on and they were still going at it hammer and tong. To me that just screams stupidity.

Just like we don't want Muslims from other countries coming here and dictating what our laws should be, we shouldn't go to their countries, break their laws, and cry about the penalties.

It's usually a good idea to listen to an officer when he gives you a warning. They are lucky he even gave them a warning in the first place.

Because allowing a person to get drunk/high on drugs, fuck on a public beach where kids play and than allowing them to tell the police officer to fuck off and expect him to actually do that is a measure of how civilized you have become. Muslim societies like the UAE in time will prove a good counterbalance to the degenerate nature of our societies.

Ok, this guy is known locally to where I work. They changed the name of one of there cocktails at the local Pub from "sex on the Beach" to "vince looking at 6 years" for thats his name, still lets be honest lads he'd been at an all day Cristal champagne drink as much as you like buffet (all for $100) for several hours... what bad decisions have any of us made in a similar state... Now if being pissed & having public sex in an arab country and telling a cop to fuck off aint chancing your arm then I dont know what is.
