my experiment with buying traffic
 

if you got anymore offers for traffic, i am buying so please let me know.

okay so i've bought some traffic. 10,000 unique popups for starters...around $70 bucks.....

so now purpose is to see 1) how effective this conversion can be....2) whether this boosts traffic down the road.

i've read many different experiences on here....so i think might as well try it and see how it works

now i need to know what programs convert, i was thinking of doing that datinggold $1/email thing.....should cover the cost... might need to geotarget as well (more than half is from usa and canada so it should be okay)

anyways what programs are known to convert? personally, in my other sites, paysite content has converted very very poorly.....dating stuff has done the best.

I've made a few dating sales off Ravo's traffic......nothing spectacular, but it did convert into $50 sign ups. Around a dozen or so, off a few hundred dollars in U.S. targeted traffic. I made a small ROI.

I've also bought text links off sandman, thats made me several thousand dollars this year.

If your creatives are custom & spectacular enough you can make a couple bucks.

I highly suggest you spend your $ on building your own traffic network though. Instead of paying a broker for traffic, pay an employee to build you some free sites & start submitting them/doing basic seo on them.

you should play lotto seriously! I highly doubt there is another person in this industry that purchased traffic from a broker that made their money back!

1. 10k bought traffic is not enough to base any accurate decision on quality off of.
2. You probably won't see any return on investment at all.
3. You could have bought a 4 30 packs of beer and been much happier.
4. You should have tried the traffic in my sig for quality.

Buying traffic is a work of art and it's not for everyone

Its like slinging shit at a wall and hoping some sticks.

I've lost more money then earned from bought traffic over the years...

I shouldn't say this for fear of selling him out, but you jaded mofo's probably won't believe it anyway: Sandman's text link for $100/month has never failed to at least double my investment sending it to my own sites, blogs and/or clip stores.

I bought traffic and made my money back... Some time ago I bought $25 of gallery traffic from Choker Traffic and sent it to a pussycash FHG and made $125.. got my $25 back + $100 profit

Sandman's not a broker thought....he just sells his own shit....I've made lots of $ buying traffic off of independent sellers. I've just made very little money buying from normal brokers.

I will give JuiceyAds a $1,000 test in January & report back.

youve got to buy the right kind of traffic for your needs..
most people just buy the cheapest stuff they can find and hope that it makes sales...

thats what i said in other thread ... two sales from 10k, that was also choker ... it does matter where it goes, if you send traffic from tgp to tgp, its wasted money :winkwink:

i do not know which traffic broker accept paypal, so i didn't go to them!

Well, unlike a broker, I know my traffic and stand by it, if he feels he was ripped off, i'll help him figure out why it didn't convert, and help him make it convert, and give him extra traffic :)

So in reality, he'll most likely get more then 10k of traffic. My word.

Its better to make up a few galleries on the domain in question and post it to tgps. :)

mmm I don't know where you sent your purchased traffic but .... if you bought traffic and sent it to your Tube and expect returns then G-d be with u....

U might wanna look into the concept of landing pages and what makes traffic "good" ...
