Brought the bike back today. We have the boat cruise tomorrow, then fly to Kauai Friday.

Helicopter on Saturday. Haven't found a bike rental on that island yet, so may find Jeep instead. At least, that is the plan.

To tell you the truth, I bought them the day before I left to come here because I did not want to wear my boots on the catamaran. I do not usually own sneakers and these will hit the closet as soon as I get home . . . if they are lucky.

nice bike, cant really rent those here, too heavy for most ppl and they steal these all the time, I looked at a HD insurance once, you have to bold them to the ground twice with a special lock and arent allowed to keep it anywhere on the streets in a 10 mile radius from your house

sure is a nice bike to tour around the island

Truth be told, the only reason I got that model was for goodgirl as she likes the passenger seat and can travel further / longer with it.

As the driver, it is 96ci and a 6 speed transmission that you can rarely get out of 2nd on most of the roads we took. It was a major workout for me as it is a heavy bike and I was doing non-stop twisties for 5 hours.

I would have rather been on my Night Train or Heritage.

I have a ton of pix from Hawaii and it is always the same .. the pictures never really convey the emotion and wonder of it .. even with a little overcast skies I am sure it was just awesome ..
