I rent the ice like 9 times a year, all the players each time chip in. But it all goes on my account. So the Kings treat me very well for the buisness I bring in. As far as serious access... well last season I skated pregame warmups with the team. All my friends were in the stands. I was on the ice with the Edmonton Oilers on the other side... music was blaring..and the fans werre wondering who this new player was..lol Players were having a good ole time with me, bumping me and stuff. It was as close as Ill ever get to playing in the NHL. But it was great.

Do you play ice hockey at all. The day starts with a pickup game on staple ice. Bring your whole family to watch you act like Gretzky. Last year he stood in the Zamboni tunnel and watched us play. I skated up to him and asked him if he wanted to join us. He just smiled. I think he was enjoying people playing for the love of the game.

All about the love of the game! I play on one of the Microsoft Franchise teams up here in Seattle plus run a pick up game for parents with kids that play too. My son and I also take private lessons from a former Thunderbird, plus I hit one or two other pick up games weekly, so definitely I would have to say that I like to play - maybe not the best but certainly not the worst out there usually.

I will bring gear down though for sure. Wouldn't be able to bring my son down then because of school but was planning a trip down when vacation permits - goal would be to catch a Kings, Ducks, and Sharks game. (Last season, my boy got a Sharks jersey signed by nearly every one on the team when he stayed at the same hotel as them in Vancouver.)

When I used to live in LA my roommate had season tickets during the Gretzky years so I enjoyed watching some excellent games back in the day. I got into the Penguins a few years back due to my son (nowadays every kid wants to be Crosby or Ovechkin instead of Gretzky or Lemieux...)

This might be one of the times to get your son out of school, and let him play with us. Its very inspirational for kids. Twice a year i do a kids only pickup game. The kings love the kids on the ice.

He is still playing pee wee so the part about hanging with some porn stars in party mode probably not a good idea since they tend to talk about their last shoot where the director made them work bareback anals with a stud that had a wart on his cock and various other porn style cooler chat. If you are saying the morning scrimmage is kid friendly though I will have to consider that because I know for a fact that it would blow his mind.

I went to Staples Center today to mee with my rep there. WNBA court was set up. Weird not seeing ice there.
