Religious people are perfect conduits for whatever bullshit you spill into them, because they are primed with FAITH in things that not only cant be proven, but which can easily be DISproved. So the leaders and strategists; the Karl Roves if you will, know FULL WELL that they are bullshit artists. They also know that these believers will spread the rumors and lies all over the country like wildfire, and will vote blindly and consistently down through the generations.

So it's good to keep the proper perspective. The tactic of keeping voters inbred and dumbed down with no school funding *works*, the right wing has proven it. They just dont know how to detect critical mass, and it is inevitable that it comes crashing down in a big shitstorm before long.

Just for a little perspective the "In god we trust" wasn't put on our money till 1951 and that was during anti-communist fervor which associated atheism and godlessness with the reds. Also, the founding fathers were not religious to the point where you could almost consider them the atheists of their time and they certainly wouldn't be considered evangelical in any sense of the word. Hence, why the whole separation of church and state thing was so important.

Another tactic they use is to paint anyone who isn't like them as an obama worshipper, or that he is lord obama and all that type of stuff. This is a well known tactic to get your followers to dislike or hate an opponent. Paint your opponents leader as someone who has nothing but dumb followers, captivated by his glory.
