I was born and raised in montana and there are lots of golden eagles where I grew up.
I see bald eagles and golden eagles many, many times a week with my day job(often tiems within 50-100 feet). I can tell you first hand, that a 3 foot tall eagle with a 6 foot wingspan isnt a fabrication. These birds get fucking huge.
