It didn't make a lot of sense to me to spend a lot of money, time, and effort to protect my members area, lock down my video streams, and ferociously fight piracy, only to have those same scenes plastered across every pirate site with no watermark, ripped from a DVD. I also had a handful of situations where my DVDs accidentally ended up in DVD groups that were licensed to tube sites or content brokers, so that caused a bit of a cluster fuck and headache. In the end I decided the extra money wasn't worth the hassle. I work in a niche market and in a place where getting content isn't easy, so protecting the content is incredibly important to our online survival.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just think that even though there is a lot of piracy online, there's still a lot of customers who wouldn't know where to begin, when it comes to sifting through torrent sites to find a full dvd for free. I think most of the people who are watching free porn on the internet are probably just typing cetain girls or keywords into google, and then clicking through sites for whatever they can see for free. I just watermark everything, and if they can manage to get my stuff off my site, and post it on a tube site or whatever, then it's just free advertising. They still won't find all the content in one place, and in hd, like they will on my site. As far as the dvds go, there will always be people who want to purchase a physical product that they can collect. When I was selling home made dvds on my site, customers would pay $29.95 plus shipping for a dvd with 5 or 6 girls, even though for the same $29.95 they could join the site and watch 100's of videos. Hopefully everything continues to go good, and I'm just going to keep going at it.
