I was searching for something and came across this thread. Great information here! Thought i would give my 2cents.

On my site, i never blind link my movies galleries. Not to say i won't in the future, but so far i see no need for it. I created 4 tables, 2 on each side, and i added a few blind links into two of those tables. Most surfers aren't dumb, and they usually get the clue where the blinds links on porn pages are. If they do happen to click on a blind link and you send them to a quality site where they get good content, they'll begin to trust your blind links. I know that sounds silly, but it's true. I had 4 sites i was trading with, and the productivity was great for my exit traffic.

I haven't began to "hide" the url when a surfer rolls his mouse over the link, cause i'm not ashamed where i'm sending him. I believe they respect that. There most inclined to get curious and click on that link and surf the other page giving the other webmaster clicks.

Through most of this experiment, i noticed a lot of outgoing clicks in one of my tables containing some of the blind links. I couldn't figure out why till i got a random email saying he like the sites i was "blindly" linking to. He'll tell one person, then that person will tell another, and so on. Thus creating a pethra of good surfers.

So over a few weeks, i studied my server logs like a hawk and i notice that people were click on everything on my page, where as before, they weren't. I believe it's because over time, there not scare to. The key to success in this business is a simple click.

So i think that gaining the trust of the surfer is the key. Blind links aren't bad, but having your surfers enjoy clicking on them and on top that, following through on the next site with clicks on that site, everyone wins.

Although this takes a lot of time for the sufer not be scared of clicking on a link on your page...but i think it's time well invested.

Unfortunatley, everything is coming down on my page..links, etc, since i have to port my code to php. But i found out what works for me on gaining true loyal surfers. Once they trust, they click on anything you put in there face. And that's the goal.

Trust + loyaty = clicks = good ratios = $$$$$

Now to get this shitty asp crap over to php to get back in the game. Anyone for hire?
