The Golden Ticket
 HOLMBY HILLS ( KTLA) ? In an effort to help magazine sales, Playboy Enterprises announced Wednesday that 10 ?golden tickets? will be stashed among the 200,000 or so copies of the December issue of Playboy magazine which hits news stands Friday. Hugh Hefner will party with the 10 winners (each winner can bring one guest) at the Midsummer Night?s Dream Party in August 2011. All 10 winners will be flown to Los Angeles and Playboy will pay the bill for two nights at the Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood, plus dinner at Simon LA at Sofitel. Playboy reps say the promotion was inspired by Willy Wonka, the eccentric candy maker in the children?s book by Roald Dahl, ?Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.?

nice promo, so obvious i am amazed many companies haven't been doing this kind of thing.
of course candy companies do it alot but magazines and/or newspapers could do some major biz. i would estimate the value of each ticket to be 10k or so? a party at the mansion is beyond value but the other stuff could be no more than 10k for 2 people so its a huge profit potential for a 100k investment.
