Blogging help
I know this is probably a stupid question, however I do believe I don't quite understand how RSS and all that jazz works.
Lets say I come across an article on another blog that I like and I feel the article and keywords used in it may be a benefit to my own subject. Is it right that I would somehow see their rss feed and feature an excerpt from the post I like on a post of my own and I would then write a discussion along with their post on my own page? I look at RSS feeds and they seem to show many many posts from the authors... or am I looking at this the entirely wrong way? Thanks in advance |

People don't generally put their RSS feeds out there to be scraped, they have them so readers can easily get the latest posts in their feed readers. This is especially true for REAL bloggers who write every word of their posts. If you like a post and think your readers will too, then link to it and you may get a trackback link in return, or post a comment on the original blog asking the author if you can quote a snippet from their post. Some people are REAL sensitive about their hard work getting posted elsewhere.

In adult. RSS feeds are usually not intended for the same reason why they are in mainstream. As newB said. They are meant for feed readers. In adult, Sponsors will provide a blog of there own for you to take RSS feeds from that will have you affiliate link in them automatically so you can quickly fill up blogs with automated posts with sponsor links in them.
